'What was that?!' Roy gripped his dagger tighter and waited to hear the noise again, but nothing came, and he let out a sigh of relief.
'Probably a weak beast, or a bird…' Roy calmed down.
Unexpectedly, he began to feel a warmth in his chest, and his expression fell.
'Oh, no. No, no, no...' He pleaded mentally, but that didn't stop his iridescent cube from appearing suddenly and displaying a message that was all too familiar.
