Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 Eriri

"Ryuya."

"Ryuya!"

"Ryu! Ya!"

Originally soft and gentle, a voice can turn into a violent silly goose when faced with an unromantic man. Giving her brother a death glare, Yukino, whose intuition was quite sharp, felt the man had changed a lot.

Seeing that he was finally fully awake from her calling, she looked around the place Ryuya had found and continued, "The environment here is nice. How did you find this place, Ryuya?"

"Hmm..."

Feeling that Yukino was a bit annoying, the kind of frustration when you want to sleep well but are disturbed by your own pet, Ryuya gave Yukino a displeased look. He suddenly felt like giving this infuriating younger sister a good spanking.

"I found it by chance. It's my first time here too."

Although he wanted to sleep a bit more, realizing it was impossible, Ryuya still answered Yukino.

"Found by chance? So, someone else might have already claimed this place?"

"Even if no one else is here now, a restroom like this will be noticed sooner or later."

Clearly very satisfied with this classroom for napping, Yukino muttered to herself, "I remember the Shuchi'in Academy's student council handbook clearly states that no classroom can be used as a student's autonomous activity space unless you report to the student council in advance or notify a teacher."

"And to freely use a specific classroom, you need a legitimate reason, like a club, a circle, or something similar."

Furrowing her cute brows slightly, Yukino's expression showed some surprise, "I never thought the student council had such power in Shuchi'in Academy."

Just regarding classroom usage was one thing. Recalling more hints from the student council's rules, Yukino realized that within Shuchi'in Academy, the student council's power probably surpassed even the teachers'.

"Shuchi'in Academy is, after all, the top institution in Japan. The total student body across all grades exceeds a hundred thousand. How could the barely over a thousand teachers manage that alone?"

Enjoying the evening breeze, Ryuya continued, "Besides, what's the issue with the student council's power? Couldn't you just mention this to Haruno?"

Haruno, Yukino's older sister is a mature and intellectual beauty three years older than Ryuya.

Having been at Shuchi'in Academy for more than three years with remarkable abilities, she was now the student council's vice-president. Just the usage rights for one classroom? If Ryuya spoke up, Haruno would certainly help her younger brother.

"No, we can't rely on Nee-san."

Thinking of her sister, who was better than her at everything since childhood, even fighting to be Ryuya's bride in pretend play, Yukino had to admit she felt a bit panicked.

'Having finally escaped the restraints of home, before officially becoming Ryuya's lover, I absolutely had to minimize contact between Nee-san and Ryuya.

Though she thought this internally, Yukino's words remained righteous: "Ryuya, we are adults now. We must do everything ourselves and not rely on the family anymore."

"Something small like a classroom, we don't need to trouble Nee-san."

"Ah, right, right, right." Looking at the overly excited Yukino, Ryuya asked, "So what do you want to do?"

"It's not what I want to do, but what we want to do!"

Through their long time together, she had unconsciously come to see Ryuya and herself as a single unit. Even if their current relationship was still just siblings, Yukino had never considered marrying anyone other than Ryuya.

Giving him a dissatisfied glare, she continued, "Let's start a club. What are you good at, Ryuya?"

'I'm good at slacking off, or being a king.'

Thinking this internally but not saying it aloud, his indulgence towards Yukino was like it was towards the young Artoria. Ryuya shook his head, "Yukino, leaving aside what kind of club we'd create, a club needs at least three people... you understand that, right?"

"Three people?"

As if hearing news that their secret world for two would be broken, Yukino looked at Ryuya, then at herself, then at Ryuya again...

No matter how she counted, there were only two. They really were... one person short!

Eriri Spencer, a mix of British and Japanese heritage.

As a new student at Shuchi'in University, she is a genius beautiful girl painter who attracted much attention upon enrollment.

Petite, with the traditional Japanese feminine delicacy, yet her hair is a dazzling gold. Her clear cerulean eyes and porcelain-like skin could win over most women even on first meeting.

As the ace of the school's art club, Eriri doesn't actually enjoy traditional painting. What she truly loves is doujinshi art that relaxes her and spreads love across the world.

Mhmm, in other words, the legendary doujinshi artist known by the pen name 'Kashiwagi Eri'.

"Kashiwagi Eri... Why are you looking at these things, Ryuya?"

Facing the answer provided by the Google, Yukino closed her laptop screen.

She actively moved closer to Ryuya. As the girl leaned in, trying to exert pressure, the distance between them decreased until she could almost smell his scent.

"Rather than why I'm looking at doujinshi, shouldn't you be more surprised that Eriri is a doujinshi artist?"

After learning Yukino wanted to start a new club, although he said he wouldn't get involved, Ryuya, who couldn't rest easy about his precious younger sister, would of course help her.

He thinks through his memories of who in the vast Shuchi'in Academy might meet Yukino's criteria, as he knew his sister had always had high standards and ordinary people wouldn't catch her eye.

First, the gender had to be female. Yukino had some aversion to males. Apart from himself, she wouldn't get close to any boys, maintaining a certain distance even with her father.

Next, personality. They couldn't have a bad temper, because Yukino could be sharp-tongued. Most people couldn't handle her aloofness. This girl needed a broad-minded personality, or perhaps be a masochist?

Finally, he needed to know detailed information about the person. After all, the current Shuchi'in Academy housed many anime characters. Ryuya felt it shouldn't be hard to find someone familiar in this stitched-together world.

After pondering for a moment, he decided on the candidate.

Eriri Spencer.

She's usually acting like a refined young lady with delicate words and actions, appearing kind and amiable to others.

Like Yukino, she's a freshman this year and a top candidate for the title of campus belle among first-years.

Although it seemed a bit like using her as a tool, Ryuya, aware of Eriri's true nature, knew the usual ladylike demeanor was just a facade. Beneath that disguise lay a ferocious, passionate, obsessive, crazy true self.

She had always been painting pictures she didn't like in the art club. If they could recruit her, wouldn't it be a form of liberation for her?
