After realizing her height was completely incomparable to Ryuya's, Mordred started frantically stomping on Ryuya's shadow.
One stomp, two stomps, three stomps... She seemed so engrossed she forgot what she was supposed to be doing.
"Mordred, come here, take the game tokens."
Interrupting Mordred's thoughts, Ryuya led her to the token dispenser.
As everyone knows, all machines in these arcades operate on a unified payment system, using a specific type of game token.
Obtaining tokens is simple… it's nothing more than manual sales or automatic vending machines.
Pulling Mordred to the manual sales window, Ryuya directly bought... bought out all the tokens in the counter.
"Mordred, come get your game~ tokens."
The blue PVC boxes specifically for holding tokens weren't exquisitely made, but not exactly crude either… just the common type used for stock.
Directly clearing out the counter's tokens, Ryuya took all the currency the staff had on hand, a full five large boxes.
Mordred carried one box, he carried one himself, and the staff behind them placed three boxes on a handcart.
With the clattering sound, Ryuya wasn't trying to show off or anything… he was just recalling his own childhood.
Back then, he would play arcade games frugally, trying to get many levels out of a single token, having to practice his skills hard to play a little longer.

Pointing at the most popular game machine in the arcade, and the only one Mordred hadn't experienced, Ryuya spoke.
"Ah ha? Forget it, Master. That thing is too girly… it's not for me."
Shaking her head, glancing at the claw machine surrounded by quite a few people, Mordred's heart wavered for a moment, but she quickly shook her head again, indicating she had no interest in these little girl things.
"Not suitable? I thought you might like these."
"Ah? Who would like that kind of thing?"
Hearing Ryuya suggest she might like the claw machine, Mordred reacted as if her cat tail had been stepped on, retorting quite excitedly.
"Damn it, Master! Who are you looking down on? It's just a claw machine! Watch me grab them all for you!"
Snorting coldly, Mordred was a woman of few words. She directly put down the 'loot' in her hands, picked up a box of tokens, ran straight to a claw machine, and began her final showdown!
