A few days later.
Tendo changed into a suit and tie and, through some unknown method, managed to infiltrate the Metropolitan Police Department immediately.
To quickly advance in rank and gain the attention of the higher-ups, he continuously accumulated achievements during this period. When faced with robbers or criminals, he would use the accelerated ability of Clock Up after transforming into Kabuto, subduing them in an instant.
After all, using a Kamen Rider's power to fight crime was an extreme case of dimensional warfare. By the time the external police units arrived, he would have already disengaged his transformation and would stand alone at the scene, radiating an imposing aura, leaving a profound impression on the numerous officers.
He quickly earned a high reputation within the police circle. Tendo's objective was to use this method to quickly penetrate the upper echelons and uncover the truth about ZECT. After all, the establishment of ZECT was inseparable from the cooperation of the Metropolitan Police Department.
On the other side, Kagami was also preparing to infiltrate ZECT headquarters to investigate the Kamen Rider Project in his own way. He chose to work together with Yuzuki Misaki.
However, their rank and authority were too low, and they did not know the true location of ZECT headquarters. Normally, only Tadokoro Shuichi handled communication with the headquarters.
So, while Shuichi Tadokoro was absent, Kagami decided to disguise himself as Tadokoro and try to blend in by taking the vehicle sent by headquarters for pickup. Of course, Kagami's so-called disguise was merely slicking back his hair like an adult and wearing a pair of sunglasses.
While Kagami was carrying out his plan, several beautiful, veiled women were walking down a street in a certain urban area. They attracted a lot of attention, including Raven's.
But Raven's focus was different from the average person's; he could smell the presence of Worms from a long distance away. He secretly followed the group to one of the Worms' secret gathering spots. These Worms seemed to be discussing something.
"Has the target been confirmed?" asked the leading woman.
Her name was Rena Mamiya, a rare executive-level Worm. She was the one secretly orchestrating the recent series of attacks against the Native Worms.
"Yes, it's these two." A woman produced two photographs: one of Soji Tendo and one of Raven.
These were the materials they had collected during this time. According to their analysis, Tendo and Raven were the two Kamen Riders posing the greatest threat to their Worm faction. They had to find a way to eliminate them.
"This Soji Tendo has a sister he cherishes deeply, Jyuka Tendo. If we can capture her, we can certainly find Kabuto's weakness," the woman answered.
"Oh, and the other one?"
"It's this guy named Raven. He has shown greater strength than Kabuto and has killed many of our comrades," another woman replied.
"And what is his weakness?" Rena asked.
"We don't know much about his information right now, but there is one possible breakthrough: an employee at his café."
"Based on our observations, their relationship seems to be unusual."
"Then let's split up and capture them both," Rena quickly ordered.
Hearing this, Raven couldn't help but shake his head.
They've really chosen the path of ruin.
Daring to lay a hand on Tendo's sister... and even intending to use Beroba to threaten him? That was a joke taken too far.
However, he wasn't worried about Beroba's safety at all. He had no intention of interfering. He knew she was perfectly capable of defending herself. She was the mid-to-late-game minor antagonist from the Geats world, full of tricks and resourcefulness. She could even transform into the Mechanized Bull form.
Instead, these Worms should be worried about whether Beroba would torment them to death.
So, he quietly left the area. Rena Mamiya and the other Worms didn't sense his presence and began to execute their plan.
One of them mimicked Yuzuki Misaki's appearance to approach Jyuka Tendo, while another woman intended to deal with Beroba.
Elsewhere.
Shun Kageyama received another special mission from Mishima: to eliminate a Worm named Rena Mamiya.
Kageyama took this mission very seriously and did not dare to be negligent. After all, his performance last time had greatly disappointed Mishima, and if suitable candidates were easy to find, the current user of TheBee would have likely been replaced.
To keep his position within ZECT, Kageyama was diligently walking through the streets, holding Rena Mamiya's photo and asking passersby if they had seen this woman.
Soon, his behavior attracted the attention of the woman herself.
"Are you the one looking for me?"
A mysterious, veiled woman emerged from the crowd. Kageyama checked the photo in his hand and confirmed her identity.
"Let me inscribe these words on your tombstone," Rena said in a cold voice. "Shun Kageyama, also known as TheBee."
"You... you came looking for me yourself!" Kageyama didn't realize anything was wrong yet. He happily pulled out his Rider Brace immediately, taking her to an isolated location to prepare for battle.
"Henshin!"
He quickly completed his transformation and was about to attack.
Rena smiled faintly, her body transforming into the white Uca Worm, a Fiddler Crab Kaijin. Her monster form possessed feminine features. It was clear she was different from an average Worm; she possessed a high level of intelligence. Furthermore, her power was extremely formidable. Not only was her destructive capacity strong, but her speed was even faster than a typical Clock Up.
"You don't know your place."
Rena broke through TheBee's high-defense Masked Form with just a few blows.
"Is this the extent of a Kamen Rider's power?" Her tone was full of disdain.
"D-damn it!" Kageyama was utterly unwilling to give up. He struggled to his feet and continued the fight.
Just then, a man carrying a briefcase and wearing a beret appeared. It was Daisuke Kazama, the user of Kamen Rider Drake.
"What is this? I thought it was someone else."
He had some history with Kageyama. However, now was not the time to dwell on their personal feud, as their common enemy was the Worm. So, Daisuke Kazama had no choice but to transform into Drake and rush in to support Kageyama.
Unfortunately, the two Riders' combined efforts lacked any coordination and they were still effortlessly beaten by Rena Mamiya, treated like mere playthings.
However, after easily defeating the two, Rena did not deliver the killing blow; instead, she spared their lives, wanting them to witness the real hell that would unfold in the days to come.
