Chapter 41 - The Turning Point:

Dust and debris rolled across the battlefield like storm clouds, every explosion and shockwave reshaping the land itself. The wasteland has become the land of shattered earth and flickering energy.

The Z-Fighters fought on — each locked in their own war, each representing the last wall between destruction and survival.

Goku's breath came slow and even. His body was bruised, his gi torn, but his eyes burned with determination. Across from him, Korvus stood panting heavily, his massive frame trembling from the punishment it had endured.

Every clash between them had taught Goku something new. The angles of Korvus's punches, the rhythm of his lunges, even the faint shift in his shoulders before every heavy strike — Goku had seen it all, memorized it all.

Korvus roared, charging again. His fist, massive and glowing red with energy, swung toward Goku's jaw — but the Saiyan wasn't there.

In a blur, Goku appeared to the side, countering with a rapid combination that hammered into Korvus's ribs and abdomen. The brute staggered, but Goku didn't relent — a spinning kick sent Korvus crashing through a ridge of stone, the mountain cracking apart under the impact.

Korvus groaned, slowly standing up. His entire body was covered in cuts and burns, but his eyes burned with raw defiance. "I won't… fall!" he roared, energy flaring once more as he prepared another charge.

Goku raised his palm, smiling faintly. "You're tough, I'll give you that. But you've got a bad habit of rushing headfirst into things."

Blue-white energy gathered between his hands, the air trembling from the sheer pressure. "Ka…me…ha…me…"

Korvus raised his guard, channeling every last bit of his strength into defense.

"HA!"

A flash of light erupted — but the attack never hit him. In that instant, Goku vanished.

Korvus's eyes widened just as a voice whispered behind him — "You're wide open."

The power of the Kamehameha struck his back, blasting him forward and slamming him into the ground. The explosion echoed across the valley.

When the dust cleared, Korvus lay motionless — unconscious, but alive. Goku stood above him, lowering his hands with a small grin.

"I held back… barely," he muttered. "Don't want to blow the planet."

He looked up toward Razor's battle in the distance, sensing the clash of overwhelming energies. "Guess I better see how he's holding up."

Far across the field, Vegeta's fight unfolded in a blur of shadows and light. Veyra moved like smoke, fading in and out of existence, her strikes coming from impossible angles.

Her shadowy tendrils lashed out again, slicing through the air like blades. Vegeta blocked them all, his eyes darting sharply. He wasn't just fighting — he was thinking.

He fired several ki blasts not at her — but at the surrounding terrain, deliberately steering their fight toward a smaller ravine where the sunlight barely reached.

As the two entered the darker stretch of battlefield, Veyra's smile widened. "You've cornered yourself, Prince. In the dark, I am unstoppable."

Vegeta smirked, lowering his stance as though weary. "Oh, really?"

Her eyes gleamed as she slipped entirely into the shadows. The air went silent. Only the faint echo of her movements remained.

Then, from behind — her voice. "You're finished."

But as she lunged out, her hand aiming for his throat — Vegeta's grin widened.

A deafening roar erupted as his aura flared to life, exploding in brilliant gold. The light burned through every inch of darkness around them, consuming the shadows in an instant.

Veyra froze — trapped, exposed, eyes wide.

Vegeta turned his head slightly, his smirk pure arrogance. "You really thought I didn't notice?"

He shot forward, gripping her by the neck with lightning speed. Veyra struggled, shadows trying to form beneath her feet — but the brightness of Vegeta's aura erased them before they could manifest.

"Now, stay down," Vegeta snarled. A fierce blast of ki struck her stomach, knocking her out cold.

He let her drop to the ground and brushed his gloves clean. "Pathetic."

Vegeta's eyes then shifted toward Razor's battle in the far distance. He could feel it — that heavy, vibrating energy. "Hmm. Razor's still fighting. I'll see if he actually earns that pride of his."

Elsewhere, Gohan stood calmly among a field of floating debris. His opponent, Myra, panted heavily, her telekinetic field flickering like a failing flame.

She tried again — lifting shards of metal and rock, hurling them toward him with psychic force. But Gohan didn't move. He raised his palm, and an invisible wall of energy deflected every object effortlessly.

"You're strong," he said evenly, "but your power is useless in front of me."

Before Myra could respond, Gohan blurred forward and struck her neck with the back of his hand — not enough to kill, but enough to end it.

She collapsed, unconscious.

Gohan exhaled, letting his aura dim. "It's over."

Then his eyes turned toward Razor's battle — his expression hardening as he sensed a sudden disturbance.

Something… unnatural.

He looked up, frowning. "What was that…?"

At the center of it all, the fight between Razor and Duragon was reaching its peak. Both warriors stood battered but unrelenting, their energy colliding like thunder and fire.

Razor dashed forward again, his golden aura flaring wildly. Each punch, each kick carried enough force to level mountains. Duragon countered each strike with his greatsword, the heavy blade moving with impossible precision.

Their battle seemed perfectly balanced — every strike answered, every movement mirrored.

Until suddenly — everything changed.

Razor lunged again, aiming a straight punch for Duragon's chest — but before his fist could land, his world… slowed.

Not the usual delay of fatigue or hesitation. Time itself seemed to crawl. The air thickened. Duragon's movements appeared eerily smooth, faster than his own reflexes could process.

"What—" Razor tried to speak, but his voice came out distorted. His body felt like it was moving underwater.

And then — Duragon's fist smashed into his jaw.

The impact sent Razor flying, his body crashing through several stone ridges before slamming into the ground, leaving a long crater in his wake.

He groaned, pushing himself up slowly, eyes wide in confusion. "What… just happened?"

Duragon stood calmly, his blade resting against his shoulder once more. A faint smirk curved his lips. "You're quick, Saiyan. But sometimes… quickness means nothing."

Razor clenched his fists, his mind racing. He hadn't seen the punch, hadn't sensed it. It was as if the entire world had slowed down except for Duragon.

Sacred World of the Kais

Elder Kai's eyes widened as he watched the scene unfold through the viewing orb.

"Impossible…!"

Shin turned to him, alarmed. "What's wrong, Elder?"

"I just felt it," the old Kai muttered. "For a split second… time itself distorted on that battlefield."

Kibito's eyes widened. "Time…? You mean that warrior—"

"Yes." Elder Kai's tone was grim. "He's manipulating the flow of time within a limited field. Even a slight delay would make him nearly unstoppable in combat."

Back on the earth, Gohan had already sensed something off. He saw Razor stagger, confusion written across his face.

"Something's wrong," Gohan said under his breath. Without hesitation, he took off, soaring through the air toward Razor's location.

As he approached, he saw Duragon standing calm and composed, while Razor shook the dust off his shoulders, glaring with focused determination.

"Razor!" Gohan shouted, landing nearby. "Are you okay?"

Razor smirked faintly. "Heh… never better. Though I think this guy just pulled something I didn't see coming."

Duragon's eyes shifted toward Gohan, expression still calm. "More challengers? So be it."

Razor cracked his neck, his golden aura flaring higher again. "Stay sharp, Gohan. This guy's not just strong — he's got a weird ability tpp."

Gohan's eyes narrowed. "That's… dangerous."

Razor expression became serious. "Yeah… but that just makes it interesting."

Duragon lifted his greatsword, the energy around him warping faintly, the air shimmering as if reality itself trembled.

The ground quaked again as Razor and Gohan stood side by side, their auras blazing.

The next phase of battle was about to begin — one that would test the limits of time itself.
