Chapter 59 - Rise of the Crimson Beast:

The battlefield had gone silent.

Only the thunder of Razor's heart echoed through the air, matching the rhythm of his roars. The Great Ape's voice shook mountains, split clouds, and tore through the darkness like a divine cry of fury.

Cumber floated high above, his eyes sharp, grin wild. He watched the beast thrash in chaos — every blow Razor threw missed, shattering entire sections of the land but never touching him.

"Hah!" Cumber barked out a laugh, dodging another enormous fist that flattened a valley behind him. "You're strong, Razor — but you're just an animal swinging at shadows!"

The Great Ape bellowed in frustration. The ground beneath its feet glowed red, molten from the sheer heat of its aura. The beast slammed its fists into the earth, sending shockwaves racing in all directions.

Its roars grew deeper, sharper — almost… conscious.

Its power began to climb. Higher. And higher still.

Every heartbeat echoed like the drums of war, and the energy pouring out of Razor felt ominous and dense . Even the seasoned warriors on the battlefield trembled as the air thickened with that primal, terrifying energy.

"What is this feeling…?" one of the commanders whispered, unable to steady his breathing."It's like… something monstrous."

Another Saiyan stumbled back, staring up at the roaring Great Ape. "That's not power from this age… that's… ancient. Like the wrath of the first Saiyans themselves."

Cumber's grin slowly faded, replaced by a flicker of intrigue. He felt it too — that deep, resonant energy that spoke of something legendary, something long forgotten.

"Don't tell me…" Cumber muttered under his breath, smirk returning. "You're still evolving?"

The Great Ape roared again — louder than before. The sky cracked under its voice. Its crimson aura spiraled upward, merging with the night, creating an enormous vortex of red and black lightning.

Then… its body began to shrink.

Cumber's grin dropped as he watched, stunned. The massive beast — that towering colossus of destruction — was collapsing inward. Its size reduced with every passing second, yet the aura only grew heavier, more suffocating.

"What—?!" one of the soldiers gasped. "It's… changing form!"

The Great Ape's scream shifted pitch, deepening into something inhumanly sharp. Fur and muscle compacted. Energy condensed. The roar echoed across the world — a sound of rebirth.

Then, silence.

Dust spiraled around the battlefield, glowing faintly red. The vortex in the sky dissipated slowly, leaving behind a figure standing amid the chaos.

When the haze cleared, gasps spread across both armies.

A Saiyan — no, a demon cloaked in crimson — stood where the Great Ape once was.

Razor.

But not Razor.

He stood tall, similar to Cumber in height, his body wrapped in crimson fur that shimmered under the pale moonlight. His chest and face were bare, showing scars carved deep from endless battles. His black hair had grown longer and wilder, falling down his back, untamed and primal. His tail swayed lazily behind him, covered in the same red fur.

And his eyes — those blank, white eyes — glowed with soulless hunger.

Cumber floated down slowly, lips curling into a twisted smile."Well now… this is new."

He examined Razor from head to toe. "That form… it looks like the Super Saiyan 4, doesn't it? But your eyes…" He chuckled. "No, you're not in control, are you?"

Razor said nothing. He only tilted his head slightly, watching Cumber with the detached curiosity of a predator measuring its prey.

One of the distant warriors murmured, trembling, "T-That isn't Razor anymore. It's the beast… it forced itself into his body."

Another replied, barely audible, "It's… instinct. Pure, unshackled instinct…"

The air trembled again as Razor's aura flared violently — a red-black storm radiating from his form. The ground cracked open beneath his feet as he let out a low, guttural growl that turned into a roar.

Cumber steadied himself, his grin widening again."Then let's see what you've got, beast."

In an instant, Cumber blurred forward — faster than light. The shockwave from his launch tore through the land. He appeared before Razor, fist cocked back, the air itself trembling around it.

"Die!"

His punch shot forward like a cannon blast — but it never connected.

A loud CRACK echoed across the field.

Razor's hand had caught his fist.

Cumber's eyes widened. His entire arm felt like it was being crushed by a vice made of pure hatred. The beast's grip was unrelenting — cold, inhuman, merciless.

"Wha—?!"

Razor's lips curved into a feral smirk, fangs glinting under the moonlight. The ground beneath them quaked as Razor's hand tightened further. Bones creaked. Muscles tore. Cumber roared in pain.

"You—!!" Cumber tried to pull back, but Razor's grip only grew stronger. With a twist of his wrist, Razor spun and slammed Cumber into the ground, creating a crater beneath them. The force rippled outward, tossing nearby warriors like leaves in a storm.

Before Cumber could recover, Razor's foot came crashing down, stomping him into the dirt. BOOM! The earth split apart from the impact.

"DAMN YOU!" Cumber shouted, his voice echoing like thunder. He exploded upward, his aura flaring violently as he swung a punch. Razor deflected it with the back of his hand, then countered with an elbow to Cumber's jaw that sent him spiraling into the distance.

Razor didn't chase. He stood tall, his white eyes locked on his foe, aura howling like a hurricane. His power was still rising — the ground beneath him slowly liquefying from the sheer heat of his energy.

Cumber stabilized mid-air, wiping the blood from his mouth. His grin had returned, wider than ever. "So… the beast's learned to fight, huh?" He spat blood and chuckled. "Good! Don't disappoint me now!"

He vanished again, appearing behind Razor, but Razor turned instantly, blocking the strike with his forearm. The shockwave erupted outward, flattening the nearby terrain.

"Faster than before…" Cumber muttered, dodging a retaliatory punch that missed his chin by inches. But the next one landed. Razor's knee crashed into his stomach, sending him flying upward. Razor followed — teleporting mid-air and smashing both fists down into Cumber's back.

Cumber hit the ground like a meteor.

Dust and fire filled the air, turning night into chaos.

Razor descended slowly, aura pulsing with life, with power — an energy that seemed to mock everything around it.

Cumber crawled out of the crater, laughing through the blood dripping down his chin. "Hah… hahahahaha! Incredible! Absolutely incredible!"

He raised his head, locking eyes with Razor. "You're not even you anymore… You're something older. Something born for war."

Razor didn't respond. He only tilted his head again, expression empty, aura flaring higher.

Cumber grinned wider, aura bursting to life once more."Then let's push this further!"

He rushed again, both warriors colliding mid-air, trading blows that cracked the very sky. Energy waves tore through the land, destroying everything for miles.

Every strike from Razor was heavier, every roar louder. But Cumber's counters were precise — though now, he was struggling to keep up. The beast was adapting, learning, reading him. Every dodge came a heartbeat sooner, every strike hit a little harder.

Cumber felt a chill run through him — not of fear, but of excitement.

He laughed mid-battle."Yes! That's it! Show me more, beast! SHOW ME EVERYTHING!"

Razor's growl answered him as his hand shot out again, grabbing Cumber's face. The grip was unbreakable. With a guttural roar, he slammed Cumber headfirst into the ground again, leaving the battlefield quaking in terror.

From the distance, the Saiyans could only watch — eyes wide, hearts frozen.

One whispered, "He's… evolving even more during the fight…"

Another replied shakily, "That's not evolution… that's domination."

Razor stood over Cumber's crushed form, his white eyes glowing with blinding fury. The beast's smirk returned — slow, deliberate, cruel.

For the first time in centuries, the demon Cumber felt something he had almost forgotten —pressure.
