The air grew heavy the moment Beerus' words echoed across the battlefield.
"I'd like to see just how strong you really are."
Razor's lips curved into a sharp grin. The faint thrill in his chest was unmistakable — excitement. He'd heard about Beerus from 18 — the God of Destruction, a being so powerful that even the Kais feared him — but this was the first time he would see his power firsthand.
He cracked his neck slowly, eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Heh… I've been wanting to test divine ki myself. Looks like today's my lucky day."
Beerus' smirk widened. "Good. I'd hate for you to bore me."
Without another word, both warriors shot into the sky, vanishing in a flash. The sheer force of their takeoff sent shockwaves across the field, forcing the Z-Fighters to brace themselves.
Whis raised his staff gently, and a shimmering blue dome surrounded everyone. "This should keep you safe from the aftershocks," he said calmly.
Goku whistled, eyes wide. "Man, this is gonna be awesome! Razor versus Lord Beerus!"
Vegeta folded his arms, though the corner of his mouth twitched upward. "Hmph. Don't blink, Kakarot — we might miss everything."
18 stood silently beside Bulma, her expression tense. "He better not push it too far," she muttered. "He's strong… but Beerus is on another level."
Up in the sky, the two figures floated opposite each other, their power rippling through the atmosphere.
Beerus tilted his head, golden eyes gleaming. "Show me, Saiyan. Show me why Whis said your energy feels different."
Razor clenched his fists, dark crimson-black energy bursting outward. The aura twisted violently as his power multiplied, Evil Ki pouring through his body. Then, with a thunderous crack, crimson lightning erupted around him — his hair glowing darker orange and spikier, crimson sparks crawling along his arms.
He growled lowly. "Super Saiyan 2…"
The ground far below cracked just from the rising energy. His total power had reached staggering levels — one hundred eighty million times.
Beerus' tail swayed lazily as he regarded him. "Hmph. You Saiyans and your transformations. But don't forget…" He raised a hand as purple flames flickered around him, the unmistakable energy of destruction crackling in his aura. "A god doesn't need transformation to destroy."
Then they moved.
The sky erupted.
Their first clash shattered the clouds, sending streaks of purple and crimson light across the heavens. The shockwave tore through mountains and oceans, held back only by Whis' barrier.
Razor roared, his fist meeting Beerus' clawed hand again and again — each collision a thunderclap. Beerus dodged with feline grace, countering with effortless precision. His attacks were faster, sharper — divine ki coursing through every motion.
Razor was strong, but Beerus was faster. Each time Razor swung, Beerus was already gone, reappearing behind him or striking from an impossible angle.
A powerful blow struck Razor in the gut, sending him spiraling backward. He recovered midair, panting slightly — and then grinned.
"You're fast… I like it."
Beerus' expression remained calm, though his smirk deepened. "Fast enough to destroy you, Saiyan."
The battle continued — a blur of strikes, roars, and explosions that shook the upper atmosphere. Yet, gradually, Razor began to adapt. He was learning, analyzing Beerus' rhythm.
Then suddenly, Razor stopped midair. His grin widened — feral, untamed, the same one he wore not long ago on Planet Sadala.
His aura exploded upward, the sky turning black. His muscles expanded slightly, his dark orange hair extending reaching his legs, and his eyebrows vanished entirely. The air screamed under the pressure of his transformation.
The sound of his roar echoed across planet.
Even from below, everyone could feel it — a surge of energy that dwarfed everything before it. Gohan and Piccolo looked up in awe, unable to breathe.
"Unbelievable…" Piccolo muttered. "His power… it's monstrous."
Vegeta clenched his fists. "He's jumped almost twelve times higher than before!"
18's eyes widened, her worry turning into pure disbelief.
Beerus, however, simply chuckled as his own aura rose. "Now we're talking."
Razor blurred forward, faster than before — his strikes sharper, ruthless, always aimed for vital points. Beerus parried each one, but now, for the first time, he was forced to exert effort.
The sky became a battlefield of gods — a storm of purple and crimson streaks tearing through the heavens. Every collision lit up the sky like lightning.
Beerus laughed mid-fight, a deep, gleeful laugh that echoed like thunder. "HAHA! This is exhilarating!"
Razor grinned back, his own laughter wild. "You're not so bad yourself, Cat God!"
Down below, all anyone could see were flashes of light — blinding bursts that made it impossible to follow. Whis sighed softly and tapped his staff to the ground.
A holographic screen appeared, showing the fight in slow motion.
"There," Whis smiled. "You can actually see them now."
Goku leaned forward, eyes gleaming. "Look at that speed! Razor's punches are insane!"
"Beerus isn't even flinching," Vegeta muttered. "Tch. Typical."
The battle raged on. But Razor, even at his monstrous power, began to notice something unsettling.
Beerus wasn't tiring. In fact, his strength was growing. Each strike from the God of Destruction hit harder, faster, more precise. Razor's energy flared desperately, trying to keep up — but Beerus' divine ki was limitless.
Beerus suddenly appeared in front of him, whispering softly, "You fought well, Saiyan. But this is where it ends."
A single punch — wrapped in pure destruction energy — crashed into Razor's chest.
The world went silent.
Razor's body shot downward like a meteor, carving through the atmosphere. The impact shook the entire planet as he crashed deep into the Earth, vanishing deep into the crust below.
The Z-Fighters gasped. Even Goku's smile faded.
After several tense moments, a crimson light burst from the ground, and Razor reemerged, battered but standing.
Beerus floated above, his expression now calm once again. "That's enough. I've seen what I wanted."
Razor's aura flickered as he steadied himself, breathing hard. Though unsatisfied, he knew Beerus was right. "Heh… guess I still have ways to go."
Beerus smirked. "For a mortal… you were impressive."
Down below, Whis lowered the barrier as everyone exhaled in relief.
"That was insane…" Krillin whispered. "I couldn't even blink," Gohan added.
Beerus yawned, stretching lazily. "Well, Whis, I think I'll take a nap now."
Whis smiled as he twirled his staff. "Of course, Lord Beerus."
In a flash of blue light, both vanished.
—
On the way back to their planet, Whis glanced at Beerus. "So? What did you think of him my Lord?"
Beerus smirked, eyes half-lidded. "If he were a bit more stronger, he might've pushed me to use that technique. But then I would have won easily."
Whis chuckled. "My, my… that's quite the compliment."
—
Back on Earth, as everyone began to disperse, Rizze ran towards Razor as she climbed on his back saying that he worried her too much.
18 walked beside Razor, still looking uneasy. "You scared the hell out of me, you know that?"
Razor chuckled softly, his tone relaxed despite his bruises. "Heh, maybe I got a bit too comfortable with my new strength. Beerus reminded me that I'm still nowhere near his level."
18 crossed her arms. "At least you're not dead."
Razor grinned, glancing at his fist. "No. But I did feel it — this form… it's not done growing yet. Once I master it completely, the results will be very different."
18 smirked slightly. "Then you better not blow up the planet next time."
Razor laughed, the orange glow of sunset reflecting in his eyes. "No promises."
