Chapter 76 - A Rivalry Across Universes:

A month had passed since Razor began his grueling weighted training. On Earth, his routine had become unshakable — sweat, push-ups, and endless strain under the crushing weight of his clothes. Meanwhile, far away on Beerus's planet, two familiar Saiyans were in the middle of their own training session.

"Alright, Vegeta, let's go again!" Goku shouted, dropping into stance.

"Don't tell me what to do, clown," Vegeta snapped back. Both powered up — not transforming, just pure base form strength — and clashed, their punches creating shockwaves.

From the side, Whis watched, hands folded behind his back. "Remember, no transformations," he said calmly, his staff shimmering with a faint light. "We're focusing on control, not destruction."

The two Saiyans separated, panting lightly. Goku grinned, wiping sweat from his brow. "Man, even without transformations, you're tough, Vegeta. But I still gotta get stronger — stronger than you, Razor and Lord Beerus!"

Vegeta's smirk widened. "Hmph. You talk big, Kakarot. Beat me first before you dream about surpassing anyone."

Their auras flared as they lunged again. Goku's movements blurred — his speed and timing catching Vegeta off guard.

"Tch!" Vegeta growled, trying to block a flurry of blows. But Whis tilted his head, noting calmly, "Your heart is wavering again, Vegeta. Focus, not frustration."

Vegeta gritted his teeth — but before he could react, Goku appeared behind him, ready to hammer-fist his back.

"Gotcha!" Goku yelled.

Suddenly, Vegeta exploded in blue light. "Don't get ahead of yourself!" he roared, transforming into Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, and blasted Goku point-blank. The explosion sent Goku skidding to the very edge of the planet, leaving a smoking crater behind.

"Hey!" Goku shouted, standing up with smoke curling from his hair. "That hurt! We agreed not to use transformations!"

Vegeta smirked, arms crossed. "You were asking for it."

"Well, fine!" Goku grinned, his hair flaring blue. "If you're going Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, then I too will transform into Super Saiyan God Supe--- Ouch!". Goku bit his tongue before completing his sentence.

Goku transformed back along with Vegeta. "Man calling this transformation Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan sure is a mouthful, we should come up with a different name Vegeta."

Whis sighed, pinching his nose. "Honestly… it's always like this with them."

The angels' calm voice interrupted their debate. "Let's call it… Super Saiyan Blue. The color fits your hair, eyes and aura."

"Super Saiyan Blue, huh?" Goku repeated, blinking. "That's a lot easier to say!"

But before they could resume fighting, Whis waved his staff, and both Saiyans were suddenly wearing bulky, thick, yellow space suits.

"Huh!? What's this!?" Goku yelped, feeling the resistance in his movements.

Vegeta groaned. "Whis! What's the meaning of this?"

"It's your punishment," Whis said with a serene smile. "You broke the rules. These suits are veeery heavy. You'll train wearing them from now on."

Goku tried to float — and almost fell face-first into the ground. "Oof! It's sooo heavy!"

Vegeta glared at Goku. "This is your fault, Kakarot!"

"My fault? You started it!"

As they argued, a sudden whoosh echoed through the air. Two figures descended onto the planet — one large, round purple cat, and beside him, a tall, elegant female with pale blue skin and long white hair.

The new cat smirked as he landed. "So, Whis, I see you've taken two apprentices now?" he said, voice smug. "Long time no see, Whis."

Whis blinked, recognizing the intruder. "Ah… Lord Champa." He bowed slightly. "Welcome."

Goku squinted. "Hey, Vegeta… doesn't that fat one look like Lord Beerus?"

"And the woman looks like Whis's sister," Vegeta muttered.

Before they could say more, Champa barked, "Whis! Bring out Beerus for our showdown!"

Whis smiled politely. "Lord Beerus is resting. Please wait a moment."

He floated off — and naturally, Goku and Vegeta couldn't help but rush up to Champa.

"Hey there!" Goku greeted cheerfully. "You look kinda like a rounder version of Beerus! Are you his brother or something? And who is stronger among you both."

The female angel giggled. "How rude. Lord Champa is indeed Lord Beerus's twin brother. And I am Vados, his attendant. And you can see from his body who is stronger."

Champa roared, annoyed by the antics of his attendant. "Vados!!!"

"Whoa! So there's a female Whis too?" Goku said in amazement.

Vegeta sighed, facepalming. "Kakarot, you can't just say that out loud."

Vados chuckled. "Oh, I don't mind. Though between us siblings," she said with a teasing smile, "I am slightly stronger than my dear brother."

"Now hold on!" Whis said, reappearing with a yawning Beerus in tow. "It's been a millennium since we last trained together, Vados. Don't get ahead of yourself."

Vados glanced sideways at Whis with a small smile. "You can always prove your point brother."

Beerus stretched lazily. "What's this noise? You two came all this way just to bicker?"

Champa smirked. "Not just that. You remember our little showdown, don't you?"

Goku's eyes lit up. "Wait, a fight!? You two are gonna fight!?"

"Hardly," Beerus said, rolling his eyes. "We're having a food competition."

"WHAT!?" Goku and Vegeta exclaimed together.

Champa snapped his fingers, and Vados presented a steaming plate. "Behold! Boiled Don-Don bird egg — the finest delicacy of Universe Six!"

Beerus smirked and snapped his own fingers. Whis instantly produced a cup of instant ramen.

Both of them tasted each other's food but as Champa took a bite of the ramen — and his eyes widened, though he tried to hide it. "Hmm. Not bad…"

Beerus grinned, fangs flashing. "It's from Earth. That planet has tons of incredible food."

"Earth, huh?" Champa mused. "Vados, search for this 'Earth' in our universe."

Vados tapped her staff. "Let's see… ah! Found it!" Her expression fell. "Oh dear. It seems our Earth was destroyed long ago during a foolish war that wiped out the humans."

Beerus burst out laughing. "So much for your culinary dreams, brother!"

Champa's ears twitched in irritation. "Why you—!"

As the brothers bickered, Goku scratched his head. "Heh, not surprising. Our Earth's been almost destroyed and revived a few times too."

"Enough!" Champa suddenly shouted. "Beerus! I challenge you to a tournament!"

Beerus blinked. "A what now?"

"We'll each select five warriors from our own universes," Champa declared, puffing his chest, "and they'll fight in one-on-one battles! If I win we will swap the Universe!"

"Wait, you want to swap universes?" Beerus said incredulously.

"Exactly! And if I win, I get your Earth and its food!"

Beerus narrowed his eyes. "Let's put the matter of how to even swap Universes but if I win, what do I get?"

Champa grinned. "I've been collecting some wishing orbs for decades — six out of seven are in my possession. They can grant any wish. If I win I will wish for your Earth in my Universe but if you win you can wish for anything."

Goku's eyes widened. "Wait a sec! You mean like the Dragon Balls!?"

Vados blinked in surprise. "Dragon Balls? You know about them?"

Champa chuckled. "Ah, you must mean those Namekian trinkets. They're just fragments of the originals. The one I am talking about are the Super Dragon Balls, the size of planets!"

Beerus smirked. "You've only got six. That means they're useless."

Goku raised his hand excitedly. "Bulma can build a radar! We'll find the last one! Please accept Lord Beerus."

Beerus groaned, rubbing his temple. "You're impossible… fine. I accept your challenge, Champa."

The twin gods glared at each other as Whis and Vados quietly smiled.

"Very well," Champa said. "Rules are simple: ring-outs, knockouts, or surrender means defeat. No killing, no weapons, no drugs."

"Fine by me," Beerus replied. "The tournament will be held five days from now, 10 a.m., on the nameless planet on the neutral region."

Champa nodded, satisfied. "See you there, brother."

As he and Vados disappeared in a shimmer of light, Goku turned to Beerus, grinning from ear to ear. "So, who are we picking for our team!?"

Beerus crossed his arms. "Razor — the one I fought on Earth — and another mortal who I told you about when I first visited Earth he is the strongest in this universe, they are my choices. You and Vegeta can select the last one."

"Razor, huh?" Vegeta said, smirking. "That'll be interesting."

Goku pumped his fist. "Alright! I can't wait to meet this strongest warrior!"

Beerus waved dismissively. "Enough chatter. Tell Bulma to find that last Super Dragon Ball before the tournament."

Goku and Vegeta remove their heavy suits and as Whis's staff glowed, they travel back to Earth, Beerus sighed. "This is going to be troublesome…"

Back with Champa and Vados,

Vados questioned Champa. "My lord, are you confident in winning this tournament?"

Champa smirked as he replied confidently, "Vados you saw those two training with Whis right, if their fighter are of that caliber then we should have no trouble. They were Saiyans right, maybe I should add a few to my own team."
