Emma's face inched closer to Jayden's, their lips almost touching. She pulled back, a sly smile spreading across her face, followed by a teasing smirk. She repeated the tantalizing gesture, leaving Jayden craving more.
As Jayden leaned in for the kiss, Emma pulled away once more. But this time, Jayden's patience wore thin. His palm wrapped around her neck, his fingers gently but firmly holding her in place. The touch sent shivers down her spine.
"I've had enough of your teasing," Jayden whispered, his breath dancing across her lips.
With a gentle yet firm tug, Jayden pulled Emma back in, their lips meeting in a passionate, all consuming kiss. The world around them melted away as they lost themselves in the moment.
As the kiss deepened, Jayden's body began to move, his weight shifting onto Emma. She felt herself falling, and before she knew it, she was lying on the couch, Jayden's body hovering above hers.
Their lips remained locked, the kiss growing more intense with each passing moment. The air was electric, the tension between them palpable.
They kissed for what felt like an eternity, Jayden's skilled lips leaving Emma breathless. She was literally gasping for air, yet she couldn't get enough of him. His kisses were intoxicating, leaving her dizzy and wanting more.
Emma's hands instinctively reached up to hold Jayden's face, gently pulling him away as she struggled to catch her breath. "Wait, let me breathe for a second," she whispered, her voice husky from the intensity of their kiss.
Jayden smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he sat up, releasing Emma from his grasp. Emma followed suit, sitting up beside him, her chest still heaving as she tried to calm her racing heart.
"You can't handle it, can you?" Jayden teased, a sly grin spreading across his face. "Just a little kiss and you can't breathe."
Emma's smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure. She bit her lower lip, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
"Try to breathe...don't die on me," Jayden said, his voice laced with concern as he gently touched her cheek.
As Emma's breathing slowed, Jayden's expression turned curious. "So, tell me...what's a girl like you doing with a guy like me?"
"It should be me asking that question" Emma said to Jayden as she held her chin
"Well... something about you piqued my interest" Jayden replied.
Emma searched his eyes... Searched well enough to see what the lie was in that statement but there wasn't, he seemed so truthful.
"What exactly???" Emma questioned
"I don't know" He said
"It's not the attitude, not the lips and definitely not the eyes. I just can't quite place it" he said once more
"Do you need your time to think???" Emma questioned
"I'll pass..." He said to her
"So let's talk" Emma said to Jayden, "You said you don't have a girlfriend, right?" She questioned, her eyes locked on his. Jayden gave a calm nod, his expression serene.
"Do you want one?" Emma asked, raising her brows in curiosity. Jayden's response was thoughtful, his voice low and measured. "I don't know," he said. "I haven't achieved a million and one things in the world yet."
Emma's response was a calm nod, her eyes never leaving his face. "I seeeee," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Emma wasn't bent on forcing her way with Jayden. He's an international star, after all, and she's lucky to even have him in her living room. If he wants her, who is she to say no? Every other woman on the planet wants to get in his pants. Jayden is young, cool, ambitious, and cute - almost perfect. And to her, he is perfect.
"What do you want with me?" Emma asked Jayden
He stared at her and without uttering a word, he smiled.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"My tongue was stuck in your mouth a while ago, so what are we?" she asked.
"We're humans," he told her with a straight face on.
Emma stared at him and she saw he wasn't kidding.
"That's not what I mean," she told him as she slapped his arm.
"Look, Emma, you are young, you have your whole life ahead of you. There are better guys out there. You don't—"
"Hey, hey, hey," Emma interrupted. "The hell are you doing?" she asked. "Don't tell me you're trying to give me a pep talk."
"I'm just trying to get in your panties," he said jokingly with a smile.
"Look," he started with all seriousness as he held her chin, "You're a likeable person, but trust me, asking all these questions is just gonna send me away. Let the moment lead, you don't have to force anything," he told her. "And also, I'm here for another month or two, there's no way we wouldn't have figured out what we want by then," he ended assuringly.
Emma just gave a nod.
He was right, though.
All the questions and uncertainty, she was tripping.
"I'm sorry if you feel like I'm asking too many questions," she said to him.
"It's alright," he said to her as he painted a light kiss on her lips. As he tried to pull away, Emma held on to his face and the kiss only deepened.
"I'd get hard," he said to her, trying to break free.
"And I'm here," she told him.
"You most definitely don't know what to do," he joked mid-kisses.
"And so you'll teach me," Emma said as she pulled him in for an even deeper kiss.
The doorbell rang, and that was enough to caution them.
"You expecting anyone?" Jayden asked, maintaining all the cool in him.
"Nope," Emma said as she stood up from the couch and walked to the door.
