Sun Jing made it back home, tossing her bag onto her bed before stretching her arms high above her head. "Finally. Time to test out that new dungeon."

She slipped into grey sweatpants and a black tank top.

Available Dungeons:

Tutorial Dungeon — Cleared

Trial of Swords (NEW) — Recommended Level: 14

Sun Jing stretched her arms over her head. The moment she confirmed, the world warped around her.

Light swallowed her vision, and when it faded, she found herself standing at the base of a massive black pagoda that pierced straight into the clouds above. Its dark stone walls seemed endless, ancient, and oppressive.

"Whoa…" Sun Jing muttered, craning her neck as she stared up. "That's… tall." A system notification appeared.

[Trial of Swords – Quest Start!]

Objective: Reach the 5th Floor and defeat the Mini Boss.

Rewards: 12 Stat Points, Sword Technique, ???

"So it's a tower climb, huh?" she said, cracking her neck. "Guess I better start moving."

She stepped toward the entrance.

The moment Sun Jing crossed the threshold, the massive doors behind her slammed shut with a deep boom. The inside of the pagoda was dim, lit only by ghostly blue flames lining the walls.

Then five figures emerged from the shadows, Undead knights.

Each wore battered armor, empty eye sockets glowing faintly as they raised their swords in unison

Sun Jing summoned her Traveler's Sword into her hand and rolled her shoulders. "Five of you… and all level 10, huh?" she said calmly. "Should be easy enough."

One of the knights charged first.

Sun Jing burst forward, her blade meeting its rusted sword in a sharp clang! Sparks flew as steel met steel.

Another knight rushed her from behind, swinging down at her head.

Sun Jing bent backward at the last second, the blade slicing through the air just inches from her face. With one hand planted on the floor, she kicked up and spun, her legs whipping around in a wide arc.

Crack! Crack!

Her heels smashed into the skulls of two undead knights, shattering bone as both staggered.

She flipped back onto her feet in one smooth motion and flashed forward again, her sword glowing faintly pink as she sliced clean through their torsos.

Both undead collapsed into piles of bones before they even hit the ground.

Sun Jing exhaled slowly, eyes locking onto the remaining three. "Alright… let's keep going."

With a burst of speed, she closed the distance on the remaining three undead knights. Their swords came down in heavy arcs, but her body flowed between the attacks like water. She ducked under one swing, slammed her elbow into a knight's chestplate, then swept its legs out from under it and finished it with a downward slash to the skull.

The other two attacked together.

Sun Jing's magenta eyes sharpened. She parried one blade, twisted her wrist, and let the momentum guide her into a spinning cut that cleaved straight through the second knight's torso. Bones scattered across the stone floor.

The last undead roared and charged.

"Too slow."

Sun Jing stepped in close and drove her Traveler's Sword straight through its helmet. The glow in its eyes flickered, then died as its body collapsed into dust.

A familiar chime rang out.

[You have defeated all enemies on Floor 1!]

[Level Up!]

Warm energy surged through her body.

[Sun Jing has reached Level 15!]

HP: 190 → 195

Mana: 345 → 350

Stat Points Gained: 6

Sun Jing rolled her shoulders as the last of the light faded. "Nice… I'll take that."

A stone staircase spiraled upward along the wall, leading deeper into the pagoda. As she stepped onto it, another message appeared.

[1st Floor Cleared.]

"Seriously? Those things were pretty easy to kill," she muttered, resting her sword on her shoulder as she walked.

A system message followed.

[The higher you go, the more difficult the enemies will become.]

"I figured as much," Sun Jing said. "So… how many floors does this place even have?"

[15 floors.]

She whistled softly. "Guess I'm in for a long climb."

While ascending the spiral stairs, she pulled up her status screen.

She stared at the unused stat points for a moment, tapping her chin. "Should I put these in now…?"

After a brief pause, she shook her head. "Nah. I'll wait. Might need them more later."

The stairs finally opened up into another wide chamber.

Seven undead knights stood in a loose formation across the chamber, their hollow eye sockets glowing faintly as their rusted blades scraped against the stone.

"…Seven of you this time, huh?" she muttered.

She slipped her Traveler's Sword back into her inventory and reached over her shoulder, drawing out her Fairy Bow. The moment her fingers touched the string, a pink light gathered around her hand.

"Let's see how you handle this."

[Hazy Moon: Mana Imbued Arrows]

She drew and released in one smooth motion.

The arrows she fired were streaks of condensed pink mana, humming as they tore through the air. They split apart mid-flight, curving toward their targets like guided missiles.

BOOM! BOOM!

Two of the undead knights were engulfed in explosions of magical light, their bodies disintegrating into scattered bones before they even had time to raise their shields.

The remaining five reacted instantly.

With guttural roars, they lowered their weapons and charged her all at once.

"Of course you'd rush me…" Sun Jing clicked her tongue, planting her feet as the floor trembled under their advance.

She knocked another arrow. "Come on then."

The five undead knights closed in, swords raised high ready to overwhelm her in a single brutal clash.
