Chapter 12 - Another One? - The Sanctuary (Slight R-18)

The rift spat them out high above a sprawling metropolis, the city's neon veins pulsing far below like a living circuit board under the twilight sky. Set hovered effortlessly, the wind tousling his snow-white hair, his golden eyes catching the last rays of the setting sun. He turned to Elise, her enhanced beauty radiant even in the dimming light—her blonde locks shimmering like molten gold, her skin glowing with an otherworldly luminescence that made the air around her seem to sparkle.

"That was the last Gate on my schedule," Set said, his voice steady but laced with the weight of their shared ordeal. "I'm heading home to grind my strength." He pulled a small, folded note from his mana ring, scribbling his number in bold strokes before handing it to her. "Call me whenever you miss me~" He leaned in, brushing a quick, teasing kiss across her lips, the contact sending a faint spark through them both. "Seriously, though—your family will come for me soon. Tell them everything you know. Don't hide my strength… except what I gave you." His eyes glinted with confidence. 'By the time they move, I'll be untouchable.'

Elise's smile was soft but resolute, her blue eyes flickering with a mix of affection and resolve. "Alright, Set. I'll contact you in a few days." With a graceful pivot, she shot into the sky, her wind affinity carving a shimmering trail as she vanished into the horizon.

Set watched her go, then rocketed toward his apartment, the city blurring beneath him. Hours later, he touched down in the cracked parking lot of his rundown complex, the familiar sight of his black truck jolting him. 'Shit,' he thought, facepalming. "I forgot Kaiya was supposed to come days ago… Fucking Aphrodite!" Cursing under his breath, he approached the vehicle.

Inside, Kaiya sat in her crisp suit, her dark hair pulled into a tight bun, her eyes glued to her phone. She'd texted Set a thousand times—literally—her messages a desperate cascade of 'Where are you?' and 'Did I get fired?' Defeat slumped her shoulders as she muttered, "Ugh, did he fire me?"

KNOCK.

A sharp rap on the window startled her. She rolled it down, and her jaw dropped. Set's unmasked face stared back—golden eyes like liquid sunlight, white hair cascading like a halo, his features so flawless they seemed sculpted by a divine hand. "S-set?" she mumbled, her voice barely a whisper.

"Haha, the one and only!" Set laughed, his voice warm and disarming. He opened the door with a flourish. "Come on, I'm sorry for the wait. Got… caught up." His grin was infectious, but his eyes held a flicker of apology.

Kaiya nodded numbly, stepping out and following him up the creaking stairs. Her mind raced. 'This is why he wore a mask? He's… impossibly handsome. I thought he'd be hideous or scarred…' Her cheeks flushed as she trailed behind, her professional demeanor crumbling under the weight of his presence.

They entered his cramped apartment, the peeling wallpaper and threadbare carpet a stark contrast to his newfound aura. Set peeled off his shirt, revealing a chiseled physique that gleamed under the dim bulb, and spoke casually. "Don't mind the dump. I'm buying a mansion soon, so bear with it." He settled cross-legged on the bare floor, the space cleared for training, his eyes already closing as he prepared to absorb cores.

Kaiya, however, was deaf to his words. His Cosmic Allure had ensnared her, much like Aphrodite's charm had trapped him—only reversed. Her suit jacket hit the floor, followed by her blouse, tie, and slacks, until she stood stark naked. Her slim frame was a study in elegance—curves in all the right places, breasts perfectly sized to fit a hand, her ass a sculpted masterpiece. Her cave dripped with need as she crossed the room, her eyes glazed with obsession.

She knelt before him, fingers fumbling with his pants, freeing his cock and taking it into her mouth with desperate fervor. Set felt her touch through his meditation but hadn't expected this. 'Yo, my face card is broken…' he thought, a mix of amusement and disbelief.

Fifteen minutes of her eager, if unpracticed, efforts pushed him to the edge. He gripped her head, filling her mouth with his seed. The act snapped Kaiya partially from her trance, but her desire only intensified. She locked eyes with him, her voice a sultry plea. "Sir… please fuck me~"

"Are you sure?" Set growled, his restraint fraying as he pulled her onto his lap, her calling him Sir igniting something primal.

"Ravage this pussy, Sir~" she whispered, her breath hot against his ear. His control shattered. He laid her on the cold floor, and the room became a symphony of their passion—hours of raw, unrestrained pleasure, the apartment's thin walls barely containing their moans.

----

Fresh from a steaming shower, Set stood before the bathroom's cracked mirror, water dripping from his white hair onto his flawless shoulders. He couldn't help but smile, his reflection a testament to his transformation. A week ago, he was a nobody—grinding under society's boot, scraping pennies for a single core, chained to a soul-crushing job. Then Lucky Halo awakened, and his life detonated into chaos and opportunity. The Reality Treasury, Origin Assimilation—these gifts reshaped his destiny. Power wasn't just a dream now; it was his birthright. Recalling his past fueled his hunger, but Vyrak's sudden appearance from his soul space cut through his reverie.

"Tsk, you'll have a litter of babies running around soon, that's for sure," the tiny serpent quipped, coiling on Set's shoulder.

Set snapped from his thoughts, brow furrowing. "Babies? I didn't cum inside Kaiya."

Vyrak shook his head, scales glinting. "You might not recall, but that girl—what was her name?"

"Elise," Set corrected.

"Yes, her. You filled her up—multiple times, in the Domain of the Goddess of Love and Sex. If I'm right, Aphrodite blessed your child's birth. Elise's love for you will be… fanatical. You might resist it, but her? She's bound."

Sweat beaded on Set's forehead as flashbacks flooded in—Elise's moans, their frenzied union under pink skies. 'Shit… I'm gonna be a father? Already?' His mind reeled. 'One week, and my life's this insane?'

Vyrak's laugh slithered through his thoughts. "Relax. Mana slows gestation—two years until you're a father. Be grateful."

"Two years to become untouchable," Set murmured, his golden eyes blazing with resolve. He stepped into the bedroom, where Kaiya slept soundly, her face peaceful. He left a note and a mana ring on the pillow:

'If I'm gone when you wake, don't panic. I'm training. This ring has enough money and cores to hit Epic rank. Don't disappoint me.'

With Vyrak perched on his shoulder, Set vanished, reappearing in a boundless field of emerald grass that pulsed with mana so pure it felt alive. The air thrummed with vitality, each breath flooding his veins with power. The horizon stretched endlessly, no mountains or cities breaking the serene expanse—a cultivator's paradise unmatched even in Vyrak's ancient world.

Vyrak's eyes widened, his serpentine form trembling with awe. "What is this place?"

Set's smile was triumphant. "This is my home… the Sanctuary."
