Looking for someone he could treat, Baek Haemin went around asking the Silver Talon hunters if they needed some healing. However, they all started to freak out the moment they saw him approach, and made sure to maintain some distance between them.
He didn't mind it at first, since he wasn't unfamiliar with rejection. Baek Haemin didn't let a few people's rejections get to him at all. He saw the last person that was visibly bleeding, and smiled the best smile he could muster.
"Uhm–"
"I'm fine!"
The female hunter quickly raised her hands in order to shake him off, then swiftly ran to a corner, leaving his hand hanging in the air with a smile still plastered on his face.
While his body was completely frozen on the spot, Baek Haemin's smile didn't disappear.

He put one hand on his chest and drew a breath.
