Chapter 118 - Chapter 118

Let's rewind to ten minutes ago.

Inside Morgan Manor, 2B and Tifa ran their hands over their new bodies, eyes wide with disbelief—and exhilaration.

"Is this what they call the five senses?" Tifa gasped. "What an incredible feeling! Does that mean we're just like normal humans now?"

2B turned to Loren, her voice tinged with skepticism. "Before this, you installed a sensory simulation module in my body. It replicated ninety percent of human tactile feedback—but simulation is still just simulation. It could never compare to the real thing."

Ninety percent sounded high, but the difference was vast. Even ninety-nine percent wouldn't equal true, organic touch.

Now, with their consciousnesses fully transferred into these new forms, the contrast was staggering. It wasn't just touch they'd gained—they'd awakened to taste, smell, warmth, breath. For the first time, they felt alive, not as machines, but as something far more complex.

"You're not like normal humans at all," Loren said, pride evident in his voice. "You're something entirely new—a perfect fusion of mechanical and carbon-based life. Your cellular cores are composed of vibranium-based nanoparticles. The rest of your biology? Engineered from symbiote genes spliced with human DNA—minus all the weaknesses."

He gestured expansively. "You look human, yes, but you possess the regenerative strength, adaptability, and resilience of a symbiote. And thanks to the nanobots' dispersive-aggregative properties, conventional weapons can't so much as scratch you."

After nearly three months of relentless research and thousands of failed iterations, Loren had finally succeeded in creating a new lifeform—one he dubbed the Nano-Vibranium Lifeform, distinct from his earlier Nano-Vibranium Body prototypes.

In many ways, 2B and Tifa now resembled the Autobots from the Transformers universe—except where the Autobots wore their machinery on the outside, these two wore humanity like a second skin. Beneath it, they were something transcendent.

"Combining nanotech precision with organic vitality…" Tifa murmured, awed. "You really live up to your reputation, Boss."

"In this world," 2B added, voice low but earnest, "only you could've pulled this off."

Their eyes shimmered with admiration—then flickered with something else. A shared glance passed between them, sly and knowing.

"Boss," Tifa began, leaning forward slightly, "you said our bodies possess all the biological traits of human women—right?"

"Of course," Loren replied, puffing his chest with pride. "Externally and internally, you're indistinguishable from baseline humans. The only difference lies at the cellular level."

The women exchanged another look—this one charged with mischief.

"In that case…" 2B said slowly, "our brand-new, original bodies should also include… that layer human women are born with, correct?"

Loren blinked. "That… layer?"

"You know exactly what floor we're talking about," Tifa added with a coy smile.

Loren froze. A cold wave of dread washed over him. Oh no.

Before he could respond, the two women stepped toward him in perfect sync—hips swaying, movements fluid and deliberate, radiating a quiet, dangerous allure.

"Boss," 2B purred, "it's time to test the full capabilities of our new bodies."

"W-Wait—!" Loren stammered, eyes wide.

Good heavens… what have I created? he thought in despair. I set out to build elite combat units… not… this!

Just then, a soft hiss echoed through the chamber.

One of the nearby incubation pods hissed open.

A long, flawless leg—pale as polished jade—slid gracefully over the threshold. Perfectly shaped: not too slim, not too full; not too long, not too short. It was, quite simply, ideal.

Loren's breath caught. His gaze locked onto that leg, unable to look away.

From within the pod came a voice—languid, rich, and dripping with mature confidence.

"I just woke up… and it seems I've walked in on something very interesting."

The figure emerged fully: a statuesque blonde woman, 175 centimeters tall, with a high ponytail and a silhouette so perfect it bordered on unreal. Her proportions—nine heads tall, impossibly balanced—defied nature.

Yet on her, even those legendary legs seemed… natural.

"Creator," she announced with crisp professionalism undercut by smoldering charm, "Number 004, Tactical Command-Type Nano-Vibranium Lifeform—White—reporting for duty."

White. The commander's sister from the NieR universe—now one of Loren's creations.

Before Loren could process this new arrival, a second incubation chamber chimed to life—this one emitting a far different sound.

Out stepped a petite figure with wide eyes and an angelic face, her voice sweet as honey.

"Creator! Number 005, Maid-Service Nano-Vibranium Lifeform—Mary

Rose—here to serve!"

Loren stared, utterly overwhelmed.

…I am so dead.
