"Kill the kid!" The Leaf Village ninja with the katana attacked again after missing the first time.
"Bang!" Kaoru kicked him away, but the other one attacked, giving Kaoru no room to relax.
"So annoying!" Kaoru took out a kunai from his ninja pouch and blocked the ninja's attack.
Being so close, Kaoru noticed that the Leaf Village ninja's eyes were blank. Kaoru used his Sharingan and saw that the ninja's chakra was messed up. He was under a genjutsu (illusion)!
"Is someone controlling him?" Kaoru thought. He pushed away the ninja's attack and flipped back to the ground.
He looked at the other Leaf Village ninja and saw the same thing. Both of them were controlled by genjutsu.
"These two guys are just puppets. The real mastermind is someone else!" Kaoru thought, looking around. The person using the genjutsu must be nearby.
"Looks like... he's already noticed I'm using genjutsu..." In the nearby forest, Kirigakure (Hidden Mist Village) ninjas Kuro and Mangetsu Hōzuki stood silently.
Kuro was using a ninjutsu barrier that hid them. From the outside, you couldn't see them at all.
"That kid is strong. I really want to fight him!" Mangetsu Hōzuki said with a bloodthirsty look.
"Don't worry, you'll get a chance," Kuro said slowly. "If he can survive against three Leaf Village ninjas..."
"I don't think he will," Mangetsu Hōzuki said sadly. "Looks like I won't be able to fight that kid."

At that moment, there was movement from another direction. Shin stared coldly ahead, quickly approaching Kaoru's location.
"Oh, it's one of that kid's friends," Mangetsu Hōzuki said with a smile. "I remember that kid didn't like Deidara either..."
"Kuro, do you mind if I go play with him? Just watching is boring," Mangetsu Hōzuki said to Kuro, complaining quietly.
"Go ahead. Do whatever you want," Kuro said coldly.
"Alright!" Mangetsu Hōzuki said happily and left the barrier, running towards Shin.
Back in the fight, the two Leaf Village ninjas attacked again.
"Konoha-Ryū Mikazuki no Mai, (Leaf Style: Crescent Moon Dance)!"
One of the Leaf Village ninjas raised his katana and split into three, creating three figures that charged at Kaoru.
"A Chunin's Crescent Moon Dance is nothing!" Kaoru said coldly and threw three shurikens at the figures.
"Bang! Bang!" Two of them were hit by the shurikens and disappeared into smoke.
The last one was easy. Kaoru charged forward, activated Deadly Strike, and created the Mighty Broadsword again. With Garen's power, he wasn't afraid of close combat.
"Wind Release: Gale Palm!"
The other Leaf Village ninja attacked at the right moment, waving his hands and creating a large wind blade.
"Hmph!" Kaoru changed his plan and held the Mighty Broadsword in front of him to block the wind blade.
"Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind!"
At that moment, Tanuki Shigaraki joined the fight, making hand seals and spitting out a red line of fire.
"So troublesome..." Kaoru jumped back to dodge Tanuki Shigaraki's attack. The fire hit the ground, creating a large hole.
"Secret Technique: Insect Sphere!"
Just as Kaoru escaped, Aburame Torune attacked again. The Dark Binding had worn off, and he was free.
A swarm of black insects flew towards Kaoru and covered his body, starting to absorb his chakra.
The constant attacks annoyed Kaoru.
"Haha, my parasite insects will drain your chakra! You'll be empty soon," Aburame Torune said, seeing his insects on Kaoru.
"Now I can get revenge for you cutting off my arm and trapping me."
Seeing the insects crawling all over him, Kaoru became angry. This annoying situation was making him mad.
He originally wanted to defeat the two new Leaf Village ninjas first and ask them about the genjutsu.
But now he was stuck fighting these four Leaf Village ninjas. He didn't care about the two genjutsu-controlled ninjas anymore.
"You're saying these insects will drain my chakra?" Kaoru asked Aburame Torune coldly.
"If that's the case, then I'll have to kill you before that happens!"
Kaoru ignored the insects on his body and used Body Flicker Technique to appear in front of Aburame Torune.
"Go to hell! Summoning Technique!"
Kaoru made four hand seals and slammed his palm onto Aburame Torune's chest.
"This, this is..." Aburame Torune's eyes were filled with fear. He felt like he was hit by a bad attack.
A black symbol appeared on Aburame Torune's chest and spread out.
"I'll make your death painful," Kaoru said with a smile.
"Bang!" A huge cloud of smoke burst out of the black symbol on Aburame Torune's body. Then, a giant monster came out of his chest!
"Ah!!!!!" Aburame Torune screamed as the monster crushed him to the ground!
The smoke cleared, and the monster was revealed: Kaoru's summon, dressed in a tuxedo, wearing a top hat, and with the same Sharingan eyes as Kaoru: The River King!
This was the first time Kaoru summoned him to fight. He was going to use this against Orochimaru, but Orochimaru left, so he didn't get to use the Summoning Technique.
Now, Kaoru would use the River King to defeat these three Leaf Village ninjas.
Aburame Torune was hidden under the River King's huge body.
Everyone knew that Aburame Torune was either dead the moment the River King appeared, or crushed to death by the giant body.
The parasite insects on Kaoru lost control because their host was dead and flew away.
"What is that monster...?" Tanuki Shigaraki looked at the River King in shock.
"Is it a summoning beast...? But, but this guy just graduated from the academy, and that summoning beast is so huge!!!"
Tanuki Shigaraki felt like he was dreaming. What was going on? Everything that happened today was beyond his understanding.
A Genin, being chased by multiple Chunin, killed two and summoned a giant monster. It was hard to believe.
