As soon as Beerus landed, he saw Gran standing beneath a large tree
and beside him were the two Kais of the Sacred World, one old and one young.
"Looks like everyone's safe."
Beerus gave the three a once-over.
None of them had even a scratch.
In the entirety of Universe 7, these three were the ones he worried about the most.
He let out a quiet sigh of relief, then said in a low voice,
"Whis, check again—has our universe suffered any…"

"Lord Beerus!!!"
The Old Supreme Kai rushed forward and began wailing dramatically.
"Lord Beerus, that damned rat has gone too far!"

"Lord Beerus! Your arch-nemesis Quitela sent a Divine Realm Third-Stage powerhouse to wreak havoc in our Universe 7!"
Seeing that his pillar of support had returned, the Old Supreme Kai threw away all dignity, rolling on the ground like a child throwing a tantrum
all just so Beerus would feel obligated to act later.

Hearing the old man's complaints, Champa and Vados exchanged looks.
So Quitela really was trying to provoke conflict with Universe 7.
"Lord Beerus, why are you standing there?? Go to Universe 4 and beat that rat to death! I'll go straight to Zeno's Palace to file a complaint!"
The Old Supreme Kai sprang up again, wiped at nonexistent tears, and huffed angrily:
"Hmph! Our Universe 7 may be ranked low, but our God of Destruction certainly isn't! Let's see how that rat survives this time!"
He grabbed Shin, intending to drag him toward Zeno's Palace.
"Enough."
Beerus stopped the old man, rubbing his brow.
So Universe 7 really had been targeted by that damned mouse.
"No wonder you rushed here from Earth."
Beerus glanced at Gran.
His ancient-style clothing wasn't damaged at all, and he didn't have a single injury.
But judging from the expanded muscle tension across his body, he had clearly just finished a major battle.
"So? How was it—fighting someone at Divine Realm Third Stage?"
From the Old Supreme Kai's account, Beerus already understood the intruder's level.
"Too weak. I barely even had to move before he dropped dead."
Gran shrugged, his smug expression practically begging to be slapped.
Truthfully, Gran hadn't enjoyed the fight at all.
Other than raw strength, Orma was inferior in every aspect and was crushed overwhelmingly.
And since this was Universe 7, Gran had to restrain himself
even a little excess power could destroy millions of planets.
That natural limitation made the fight feel especially dull.
Gran then sneaked a glance at Champa, who had come back with them.

Fighting someone of that level would definitely feel good.

Seeing that Beerus wasn't heading off for revenge, the Old Supreme Kai jumped up and grabbed Beerus' shoulders, shouting angrily:
"Lord Beerus, why aren't you reacting?! They've bullied us right to our doorstep! That's not your style!"
"What are you panicking for? Lord Zeno already punished him."

The Old Supreme Kai's eyes widened.
"That guy's sneak attack on Universe 7 was discovered by Lord Zeno.

Beerus explained everything that had happened at Zeno's Palace.

Champa and Vados followed his gaze.

Beerus twisted his neck.
His joints crackled, sharp and chilling.
Anyone who dared lay a hand on someone under his protection—
he'd repay them twice over.
"A-and… since Lord Zeno already knows and has punished Quitela, we really shouldn't act anymore…"
Seeing Beerus' anger rising again, the Old Supreme Kai hurriedly pulled him back to reality.
"Hmph! First you tell me to take revenge, and now you tell me to stop!"
Beerus glared at him, annoyed—

Revenge could wait.
