Seraphina
Before I blinked my eyes open, I knew that I was somewhere completely different. The bed was so soft and on blinking my eyes open, the warm shadows that met my eyes sent all what happened throughout yesterday right into my head. I let out an exhale as I looked at the spot beside me. It was empty, and looked completely untouched.
So Alec really didn't sleep here last night like he said he wasn't going to.
That made me feel relieved that he kept to his words, cause that felt like now I could take his words for it. Yesterday he assured me he was gonna rescue Blair and he did, and now this.
As I slowly sat up, I stretched my hands and yawned, my bones popping pleasantly, then I got to my feet and made my way to the restroom. Along the way, I caught sight of a piece of paper by the bedside table which I skeptically picked up.
It turned out to be a letter from Alec.
