The moment they saw Lulu, Nyx and Luna's eyes met.
A silent, terrible understanding passed between them.

Before she could ask any questions, they grabbed her hands from both sides and started pulling her along.
"Wait, wait, what's going on?!" Lulu's voice rose in alarm. "What are you doing?! Where are you two taking me? Are you trying to throw me into the lake?!"
She looked around wildly. "Is this an attempted murder?! Did I do something wrong?! I'll apologize! I'll apologize for whatever it was!"
But they didn't throw her into the lake to her surprise. They brought her over to Luca.
"We found the perfect person, Hero."
Nyx presented her like a gift.
"She'll be the ideal candidate for whatever you need."
Luna, feeling a little guilty, still nodded.
