The entire room—the beautiful crystals, the colorful bookshelves, the shimmering decorations began to lose its color.
Everything turned grey, drained of all vibrancy, as if the world itself had been sapped of life.
The two Goddesses were absolutely terrified.
They had been born into the Heavenly Realm, had ruled over entire worlds their whole lives.
Even though they had superiors in the hierarchy, they were still high and mighty divine beings who had never felt any real fear.
But now they were going through the worst kind of fear to exist, one that made them feel like they were about to be torn apart by a feral beast.
