Luca broke into a light, carefree chuckle.
"Oh, that? Well, there's no secret to it. I really am observing you."
"Y-You admit it?!" Sigrid's jaw dropped slightly at his total lack of shame.
"Of course." Luca admitted, settling himself into a much more comfortable position on her back.
He spread his legs slightly wider over her flanks, a movement that caused more of his warmth and skin-pressure to press directly against her lower back.
Sigrid gulped dryly, her hooves stuttering for a fraction of a second before she forced her rhythm back.
"The truth is, Sigrid." Luca continued, resting his hands lightly near her hips. "Saving the world and protecting the demi-human continent...that wasn't actually my main reason for coming here."
Sigrid blinked, thoroughly caught off guard. "What? It wasn't?"
Luca shook his head. "The actual reason I came here was to explore and see things I'd never seen before."
His expression grew distant, almost nostalgic.
