And then it hit her.
"I..I did it!" She burst out, her voice cracking with pure, unadulterated joy. "Sir Luca, I did it! I actually managed to help you out!"
She looked down at her own hands, still slick with saliva, and let out a breathless laugh of disbelief.
"I genuinely, I thought I would mess this up. I thought...I thought matters like this weren't something I could ever do. That I'd fumble it, or bite you, or—"
She clenched her fists, staring at them as if they belonged to someone else.
"But I actually managed to make you finish!"
Her head snapped back up, eyes shining.
"Who would have thought? Who would have thought I'd be able to do something like that?"
She pressed a hand to her chest, over her hammering heart.
"I'm so happy! I'm so happy that even I can do something as feminine as this!"
Then she looked up and she saw Luca smiling at her.
'Oh no.'
Sigrid's brain caught up with her mouth approximately three seconds too late.
