Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Generous Rewards

He had already guessed the first two rewards.

The Aztect Tribe's unwavering submission to him, and a pair of upgraded Holy Light Wings.

With a thought, George opened the item info for the Holy Light Wings.

[Holy Light Wings: No level limit. Grants long-distance flight when equipped. Can summon a Holy Light Shield, giving a 300-defense shield while flying, with no cooldown. Can summon a Holy Light Divine Sword, raising attack by 500 for one second. Cooldown: 60 seconds.]

As a powerful flight-type gear, the strength of the Holy Light Wings was within George's expectations.

But what he cared about most was the later reward—the upgrade of Divine and Demon Origin!

Just now, George had learned a hidden message from the data the system gave him.

In the ancient war of gods and demons, gods and demons were not all equal.

Among them, ranks were split by bloodline talent.

The Divine and Demon Origin that George had now was the bloodline owned by the lowest gods and demons.

In the rating, they were marked as D-rank.

George chose to use the promotion at once.

[Ding. Divine and Demon Origin (D-rank) has been promoted to Divine and Demon Origin (B-rank).]

[Divine and Demon Origin (B-rank): The host can use 300% of the Crystal's energy. When meeting a player with a lower bloodline than the host, it auto-triggers the Divine-Demonic Intimidation debuff. If you defeat that player, you can use the skill "Subjugation." Skill available: Divine and Demonic Descent. Skill CD: one year.]

[Divine-Demonic Intimidation debuff: All stats -25%, attack speed -30%, move speed -40%.]

[Subjugation: After defeating a player with a lower bloodline than your own, there is a chance to bring them under your command. After that, the player will obey your orders without condition.]

[Divine and Demonic Descent: After casting, all players, demons, and gods within a thousand miles who carry the Divine and Demon Bloodline and Origin will be summoned to you and follow the host's command. Duration: one hour.]

George took a deep breath. Even though he always looked calm, he could no longer hold it in at this moment.

He had not expected that even a B-rank Divine and Demon Origin could be this strong.

Not to mention the other skills—just this Divine and Demonic Descent was a life-saving trump card!

If one day George faced danger he couldn't handle, using that skill might just turn the tide for him.

Besides that, the last reward George got was a key to an S-rank ruin — the Battlefield of Gods and Demons.

Even though George really wanted to explore what was inside, his current strength wasn't enough. So he could only put it away for now and wait for the right time.

As George kept smiling like an idiot, Dorothy looked at him with worry. "George, what's wrong with you?"

Just as George was about to explain, Louise's teasing voice came from afar. "He's probably dizzy from all the rewards!"

Seeing Louise, George walked over, annoyed, and gave her chest a firm squeeze.

"Do you even know I almost got killed by that demon?" George grumbled.

Louise pouted, then laughed. "Who told you to come here? Besides, if you were really in danger, I'd have shown up in time."

What she meant was that the Bloodstone Demon wasn't really a threat to George.

Hearing that, George didn't argue. Instead, he said, "Let's go check on the Aztect Tribe. I want to see how they plan to serve me."

Sophia rolled her eyes. "I really don't get you. Why bother taking in a bunch of savages?"

George just smiled without explaining.

When the ruins of the Battlefield of Gods and Demons opened one day, they'd understand why it mattered so much.

The four followed their original route back to the Aztect Tribe. As soon as they arrived, they saw a huge crowd kneeling before the tribe's gate.

All of them wore animal hides, with rough faces and eyes full of respect as they looked at George.

They were the entire Aztect Tribe.

"Greetings, my lord!" An old man stepped forward shakily, bowing deeply to George.

George nodded and smiled. "I won't exploit or oppress you. Live your lives as you always have."

Hearing that, the old man secretly let out a breath of relief.

Their people had lived here for generations, and moving somewhere else would have been hard to adapt to.

After thinking for a moment, the old man waved his hand, and ten strong warriors stepped forward.

"These are the ten strongest fighters of our tribe. Please, my lord, take them. They will serve you faithfully."

George thought for a moment, then nodded in agreement.

Having ten loyal NPC warriors would surely be a great help when he headed north.

The old man wanted George and his group to stay in the tribe a bit longer.

But George had no interest in the freezing lands of the Arctic. He took Louise, the others, and the ten warriors, then quickly headed back to the Dragon Bone Ship.

Their next destination was, of course, the North.

"Zack, you've been in the Arctic for years," George asked, glancing at a sturdy man with a short beard. "Have you ever seen any god-demon ruins?"

Zack was the leader George had just picked among the ten warriors — someone to command them.

Even though George already knew about one S-rank Battlefield of Gods and Demons ruin, more of them could only be better.

Zack thought for a moment, then said carefully, "I haven't seen any, but I know a few places that seem suspicious."

"Write them down and give them to me," George ordered.

"Yes, sir!" Zack nodded quickly and left.

Not long after he was gone, Louise came over.

"So, have you decided which port we'll stop at, little George?" she asked with a teasing smile.

George thought for a bit. "Where's the Cloudsea Guild based?"

Louise, being the all-knowing one she was, answered right away, "They're in Disail. We can stop at Bluewave Harbor."

"Alright then, Bluewave Harbor it is," George said.

Heading north meant walking straight into unfamiliar lands — and likely, danger.

But since he'd helped people from the Cloudsea Guild before, visiting them now seemed like the best idea.

At the same time, George also wanted to learn more about the Azure League's territory.

He had asked Sophia about it once, but she said she was just a fighter in the League and didn't know much about its management.

After hearing George's plan, Louise nodded, then suddenly said, "Once we reach the North, I might have to leave for a while."

"What's wrong?" George frowned.

"You know how it is," Louise said, staring out at the sea with a helpless smile. "We NPCs... always have special things we need to do."

Even though NPCs like her were given great power and authority, they also had many restrictions.

"But don't be sad, little George," Louise said softly. "I'll come back to find you again."

"Alright," George said with a sigh, glancing at her full chest.

"Want a taste, little George?" Louise unbuttoned the front of her shirt, smiling playfully.

George gave her a look, then nodded without hesitation.

Louise giggled softly, pulling her top open and revealing her full, round breasts.

George leaned in without hesitation, his mouth closing around her as his hands wrapped tightly around her waist.

Her milk seemed even stronger than before—after just a few sips, George felt clear-headed and full of energy.

"Alright, that's enough," Louise said with a teasing smile, nodding toward the distance. "If you keep going, those two are going to get jealous."

George glanced over and saw Dorothy and Sophia watching from afar, their faces tinged with jealousy. With a reluctant sigh, he pulled away from Louise.

Louise quickly tidied herself up, then hopped onto her broom and disappeared over the sea.

By now, the Dragon Bone Ship was nearing Bluewave Coast.

At that moment, Zack walked over respectfully, handing George a telescope.

"My lord," he said carefully, "Bluewave Coast... might not be safe for landing."

"What?" George frowned and raised the telescope, looking toward the distance.

What he saw made his face tighten—the once-bustling Bluewave Coast was gone.

In its place were endless explosions and clouds of smoke!
