Only his duty to watch over Obito had kept him from wandering off.
Now that Obito was awake, he couldn't contain his excitement.
Black Zetsu stepped forward and asked calmly,
"You're finally awake. How do you feel? Any lingering aftereffects?"
He wasn't truly concerned about Obito's condition.....he was trying to gauge Arata's strength through Obito's reaction.
Obito ignored the question.
He looked around, realized he had returned to the familiar cavern, and let out a self-mocking laugh.
His gaze then fell upon the Gedo Statue behind him—and the thick tube connecting him to it.
Reaching back, Obito grasped the tube and thought of Uchiha Madara.
With a sharp pull, he tore it free.
Swaying slightly, Obito stood up, rubbed his splitting headache, and said in a low voice:
"I underestimated Uchiha Arata. I never imagined he was hiding this deeply.
Judging by his strength… he's probably already at the peak of Kage level."
Black Zetsu nodded in agreement and said reassuringly,
"Don't be discouraged. This time, you were defeated because you fell into his trap."
Hearing Black Zetsu's words, Uchiha Obito shook his head.
"It wasn't just because I was careless," Obito said grimly. "The real problem is that this suddenly emerging Uchiha Arata is far too strong.
His Mangekyō Sharingan directly restrains mine—that's why I was completely overwhelmed."
"This time, I nearly didn't make it back alive, yet all I managed to extract was a tiny bit of information about him.

As he spoke, Black Zetsu shook his head in apparent regret.
Obito's expression darkened further.
He didn't want to admit it....but Arata was indeed far stronger than him. That was an undeniable fact.
In truth, just the thought of facing Arata again made Obito's heart tremble slightly.
As for annihilating the Uchiha clan under Arata's watch—that was nothing more than a fantasy.
At that moment, White Zetsu, who had been bored out of his mind, suddenly interjected.
"Hey, Obito, Obito!" White Zetsu said excitedly. "Why don't you try sneaking up on that Uchiha Arata? Catch him off guard and shove him straight into the Kamui space! Wouldn't that mean he's completely in our hands?"
Obito's eyes brightened for a split second.....
Then dimmed again.
"That won't work," he explained. "My Kamui can only absorb someone if I make physical contact with them—or get extremely close. And during that moment, my body has to materialize."
"If he wanted to kill me during that window, it would be effortless."
Obito paused, then added, "Besides, Arata also possesses a space-type ocular technique.
Even if I managed to pull him into Kamui, there's no guarantee it could actually trap him."
"And he has already reached the third stage of Susanoo. His control over it is terrifyingly refined.
The full-body armor he wore that night wasn't ordinary....it was Susanoo compressed and worn directly on his body."
White Zetsu scratched his head, shouting in frustration.

The moment Obito heard those words, his body stiffened completely.
Even his expression froze.
Seeing that Obito remained silent, Black Zetsu continued.
"Don't forget what Uchiha Madara told you many times....only a complete Mangekyō Sharingan can unleash its true power."
