Chapter 200 - Chapter 171 – Learning the Limitless Technique

Looking at Gojo, who was still struggling to regenerate his torso, Takumi waved his hand and released a healing spell.

"[Imitation Heal]!"

As his spell reset Gojo's injuries, Takumi also gained access to Gojo's memories.

[Ding! Acquired entries: Limitless Technique (Purple), Reversed Cursed Technique (Blue)]

As for the bonus Reversed Technique, Takumi simply chose to ignore it, but Limitless Technique—that one he carefully sorted through and studied.

The Limitless Technique required an extremely delicate level of cursed energy control to use.

That's why Six Eyes was basically standard equipment; even if someone else got the technique, they wouldn't be able to use it. But for Takumi, he could completely skip the Six Eyes restriction.

Precise cursed energy manipulation in his eyes was really nothing special. In the outside world not even 0.01 seconds had passed, but in his mind and within his godhood, he had already simulated it tens of thousands of times.

Only after fully internalizing all of Gojo's techniques did he pull his focus back.

As he watched Gojo stagger to his feet, feeling his own body in shock, Takumi's expression was pure kindness. He was always pretty friendly toward walking money fountains.

Noticing Takumi smiling at him like that, Gojo instinctively stepped half a pace back.

Seeing this, Takumi reassured him with a friendly tone. "Relax, I held back plenty. You're not gonna die."

Once he'd calmed the unprecedented fear in his chest, Gojo finally returned to his usual state.

"I originally wanted to see what your full strength looked like, but… now it's pretty obvious I was being a fool."

Clenching his fist, Gojo very matter-of-factly accepted his loss. Mostly because the loss was so absolute he didn't even have room to argue.

"This kind of pure physical power with zero cursed energy… compared to that monster I fought before—no, actually, you two are nowhere near the same level."

In the end, Gojo shook his head. Comparing Takumi to Toji was unrealistic. They weren't even the same kind of existence.

Takumi clearly wielded a power that was similar to jujutsu—yet fundamentally different.

That ability just now that ignored his Infinity—Gojo had never seen anything like it before.

Seeing Gojo still stunned and lost in thought, Takumi didn't bother with him any further. Sensing a faint cursed energy fluctuation, he turned his gaze toward Sugisawa Third High School that had been built nearby.

"Looks like something even more fun showed up. This trip was worth it."

He muttered to himself, and as the words fell, his figure vanished on the spot.

He dashed toward the school at extreme speed—his own acceleration plus an extra hundred kilometers per hour! In a single second, he crossed the long distance and arrived inside the school grounds.

Back where he'd been standing, Tsukumo Yuki and Gojo hadn't even managed to catch a single afterimage.

They only reacted after he was already gone.

"Seriously, just runs off without saying a word and leaves me here!" Yuki grumbled, looking toward the direction Takumi had headed.

Gojo pulled his gaze back as well and turned toward her. "Looks like you're pretty familiar with him. Mind telling me what you know?"

"About Takumi? I don't have much info. I just know he's involved with the hero clan, and with demons, angels, and that whole lot."

"That guy's so strong he's basically not even the same species as us anymore." Yuki answered, half sighing.

Having experienced it firsthand, Gojo agreed completely. Even though he was overwhelmingly ahead of the rest of the jujutsu world and hailed as the strongest, he still couldn't reach that level.

That indescribable sense of defeat… was seriously annoying.

"The hero clan, huh… Looks like I'll have to pay those old bones a visit myself and ask." Gojo muttered, also turning toward the direction Takumi had gone.

Only then did he suddenly realize—that was the target location of his student Megumi's mission.

"These faint cursed energy ripples… something happened over there." Gojo had just been about to move when a wave of weakness washed through him. "Guess I need to head over… Not great. I burned a little too much cursed energy."

Takumi's healing had been the bare minimum—just resetting his injuries, but the enormous amount of cursed energy he'd spent tanking that punch had not been restored.

So even if he wanted to move right away, he'd have to take a moment to recover.

Yuki, meanwhile, finally dug out her motorcycle that had almost been buried, carefully wiping the dust off it with heartache.

She pinched the Divine Envoy piece in her hand, hesitated for a few seconds, then decided to fuse it.

The scene just now of Takumi casually defeating Gojo had shaken her to the core.

Compared to whatever price she might have to pay, she was more willing to gamble.

As the golden piece sank into her body, an overwhelming strand of divine power poured into her flesh and soul.

"Oh!!!"

"The power's flooding in all at once!"

The moment she fused the piece, Yuki felt her physical stats and cursed energy both skyrocketing.

In only a few seconds, her strength had already multiplied several times over! And in the school, Takumi immediately picked up on the disturbance in that direction.

"So she went ahead and fused the Divine Envoy piece… Perfect, I can use this to take a look."

Splitting off a thread of consciousness, Takumi remotely checked Yuki's status panel.

[Name: Yuki Tsukumo]

[Rank: Special-Grade Sorcerer (Top Tier)]

[Entries: Divine Envoy (Purple), Star Rage (Purple), Star Plasma Vessel (Blue), Favored by Fortune (Blue), Master-Servant Contract (Blue)…]

[Star Plasma Vessel (Blue): A naturally gifted body—innately suited for jujutsu.]

"Only Star Rage made it up to Purple. The rest are pretty average." Takumi skimmed over it and wasn't particularly surprised.

As a special-grade sorcerer, her strength was certainly solid, but she definitely couldn't compare to Gojo.

Honestly, just having a purple entry already made someone a one-in-ten-thousand talent. It was just that he'd gotten used to seeing people like that, so it didn't feel special anymore.

Withdrawing his attention, Takumi looked at the high school in front of him.

A high school at night should have been silent and empty—the atmosphere peaceful. But now the entire campus was seething with oppressive cursed energy.

Time rolled back a few minutes earlier.

The Occult Research Club and Kuoh Academy's Paranormal Investigation Squad were holding a joint offline activity.

"Hehehe~~ This is the treasure I got from a junior, you know~"

The president of the Occult Research Club held a small cloth-wrapped object, putting on a mysterious air.

Everyone crowded around the table, with a single candle lit nearby for illumination.

The girls from the Paranormal Investigation Squad felt their fear spike at the sight.

Kana Ienaga whispered. "Can't we just turn the lights on? I feel really cold right now~"

The two girls beside her, Natsumi Torii and Saori Maki, hurriedly nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's freezing. I keep feeling like something's staring at us."

Faced with their request, the Paranormal Society's president refused outright. "No way. Don't kill the mood!"

Sure, she was scared too—but it had taken so much effort to get the atmosphere this perfectly creepy. If they flicked the lights on now, all that ambiance would vanish in an instant.
