Chapter 3 - A Meeting After the Separation

In the third year, as she sat in the café as usual,

a strange man entered, asking the waiter for a nearby address.

His voice sounded familiar...

Lian turned—and time froze.

It was Adam. But his face had changed.

He approached her slowly, as if afraid that what he saw was only a dream.

With a trembling voice, he said:

> "Lian…!"

Tears fell from her eyes without a word.

He sat before her and told her that he had survived the accident,

but had suffered partial memory loss and spent a long time in the hospital.

He had remembered her name only a month ago,

and had been searching for her ever since—until he found her.

But the painful irony was that he… was married.

He said softly:

> "I didn't know I had ever loved someone before…

When my memory returned, it was already too late."

She remained silent for a long time,

then smiled through her tears and said:

> "The train wasn't late, Adam… it just changed its destination."
