Blanche's POV
I caught Vincent's meaning and stayed silent.
Since Vincent wouldn't back down, I finally let him drive me home.
Vincent dropped me off at the Callum Mansion before heading out.
The house felt empty when I walked in—Quinton and the rest of my family were out somewhere. Only the staff moved around, keeping busy with their daily tasks.
I went straight to my bedroom and ran myself a hot bath, then collapsed onto my bed to catch up on the sleep I'd been missing.
After settling under the covers, I was ready to make up for all those restless nights.
A soft knock woke me up. One of the maids called through my door, "Ms. Callum, you have a visitor."
Still groggy, I mumbled back, "Okay, I'll be right down."
I quickly freshened up and made my way downstairs.
I expected some Callum relatives, but Tia Jacob stood there instead.
I hadn't seen Tia in ages.
