I got Camila to kindergarten at exactly 8:28.
Not technically late, but Camila still panicked. The moment we arrived, she bolted inside, terrified of being tardy.
Watching Camila dash off, I felt a gentle smile tug at my lips.
Several little girls ran alongside Camila as she hurried in, clustering around her—clearly the popular kid.
With Carry, I'd never witnessed other children warm up to her like that.
I figured it was because Carry always carried herself with such superiority—no surprise the other kids didn't take to her.
After making sure Camila reached her classroom safely, I spun around and hailed a cab at the curb.
During the ride back to the Callum Mansion, I assumed Zain and Carry would've already headed out.
But the second I walked into the living room, there they were—Zain and Carry still planted on the sofa.
The moment Zain noticed me return, he glanced my way and gave a small nod.
I approached Zain, puzzled. "Why haven't you two left yet?"
