Blanche's POV
Demetrius's comment caught me off guard, making heat rise to my cheeks.
I mumbled back at him, feeling awkward, "That's not what I was trying to say, Demetrius."
When he saw my flustered reaction, Demetrius jumped in quickly, "Well then, if that wasn't your point, just crash here tonight."
I wavered, stumbling over my words, "But this is your bedroom, Demetrius..."
Before I could argue further, Demetrius walked out of the room and closed the door firmly behind him.
Right as the door clicked shut, Demetrius's voice came through, "Sleep well."
My protest died in my throat, the words never making it out.
I stared at the shut door, my thoughts spinning wildly.
After a quick wash-up, I found myself stretched out on Demetrius's bed.
The space was minimally decorated, nothing flashy about it. The bedding was a plain, soothing gray.
Sleep wasn't coming easily, and with my phone destroyed by Vincent, I had zero ways to pass the time.
