Zita's heart was racing as she approached the harbor with Lord Hastings and the palace guards. They moved quietly, trying not to alert Lord Arden or his men.
As they reached the dock, Zita saw the ship, the "Sea Dragon", moored and ready to set sail. She knew that Lord Arden was on board, and she was determined to bring him to justice.
The guards moved swiftly, surrounding the ship and cutting off any escape routes. Zita and Lord Hastings boarded the ship, their eyes scanning the decks for any sign of Lord Arden.
As they reached the captain's quarters, Zita saw Lord Arden standing on the deck, looking out at the sea. He turned as she approached, a smirk on his face.
"You're too late, Zita," he said, his voice cold. "The ship is setting sail, and you'll never catch me."
Zita's eyes locked onto his, her heart pounding in her chest. "You're not going anywhere, Lord Arden," she said, her voice firm. "You're under arrest for the murder of my brother and for treason against the crown."
Lord Arden's smirk faltered, and he took a step back. But then, suddenly, he pulled a dagger from his belt and held it to Zita's throat.
"You're not taking me down that easily," he snarled.
The guards moved quickly, surrounding Lord Arden and disarming him. He was taken into custody, and Zita breathed a sigh of relief.
As she turned to leave the ship, Zita saw the sun rising over the horizon. It was a new day, a day of justice and closure.
Lord Hastings approached her, a smile on his face. "Well done, Zita," he said. "You've brought justice to your brother and to the kingdom."
Zita nodded, feeling a sense of satisfaction and closure. She knew that she had done the right thing, and she was proud of herself for seeing it through.
