And the Flower Seeds that had just been sprayed out were now trembling.
These walnut-shaped Flower Seeds grew dozens of slender green vines, wrapping around nearby corpses and rapidly absorbing their nutrients.
The fallen corpses visibly shriveled at a speed discernible to the naked eye, their blood and flesh completely absorbed.
The green vines, in turn, grew into small trees, each about two meters tall and as thick as a person. The trunks of these small trees were made of dozens of arm-thick vines, which now thrashed wildly, striking the surrounding Orcs.
The power of the vines was incredibly astonishing; almost every swing split the surrounding Orcs in two.
For distant targets, the vines would launch a volley of flying leaves.
The leaves, palm-sized and sharp, glowed green with magical enhancement, easily cutting through the bodies of Orcs and reaping a large number of lives.
The rampaging vines also created a defensive position for the surrounding Royal Army soldiers and Mages, allowing them to retreat and catch their breath.
In addition to the seeds that catalyzed into vine-tree forms, more seeds rapidly swelled and rooted into the ground. Bright green light emanated from the seeds, and the Flower Seeds grew with the wind.
In just one or two seconds, they transformed from head-sized Flower Seeds into small saplings. The branches of these saplings formed arms, and their roots formed legs.
Leaves covered their entire bodies like scales, their faces gradually became more human-like, growing facial features, and red flames burned on their heads.
Their overall appearance bore a five-tenths resemblance to the Fire Crown Treant, but their faces were less imposing, their physiques were somewhat thinner, their height was just over two meters, and their faces appeared younger.
In the night, hundreds of slender, tall Treant Warriors, wielding wooden spears, rose from the corpses of the Orcs.
Red flames danced on their heads with the wind, and their red eyes glowed brightly in the night.
Each Treant Warrior exuded the aura of a C+ grade Magical Beast.
After a period of cultivation, the Fire Crown Treant had long since mastered the Treant Warriors, a unique magic originating from the War Ancient Tree, to perfection.
Now, the Treant Warriors he created possessed C+ grade strength, and a single casting could produce around 300 Treant Warriors.
The duration of the Treant Warriors was a full 10 days!
Moreover, the Treant Warriors would inherit a low-tier version of the Fire Crown Treant's crown of embers, as well as some of the plant magic he knew.
Purely in terms of strength, the Treant Warriors, aside from being a bit fragile, reached the limit of Mages of the same level in combat power.
After one round of casting, the green light in the Fire Crown Treant's hands did not extinguish; instead, it grew brighter and brighter.
Behind him, dozens of flower buds, propelled by twisting vines, once again sprayed out a new round of Flower Seeds.
The head-sized Flower Seeds glowed green, sweeping across the entire battlefield like a torrential downpour.
In front of the Fire Crown Treant, within a thousand-meter radius, there was almost no living creature standing.
The Flower Seed Cannon had decimated a large number of Orcs, and the landed Flower Seeds, in turn, sucked the nutrients from the Orc corpses on the ground, growing into new vine-trees or new Treant Warriors.
As for the newly created Treant Warriors, having inherited the Fire Crown Treant's memory, they required no control. They were already wielding their wooden spears and engaging the Orc Soldiers, commencing fierce combat.
The combat style of these Treant Warriors was terrifyingly ferocious.
A lone Royal Army soldier, shield in hand, watched in horror as a Black Pig People raised his mace high, roaring as he brought it down.
Fear spread through his mind; this seemingly young Royal Army soldier completely lost the ability to move, able only to watch the mace descend.
At the critical moment, a verdant wooden spear, accompanied by a sharp whooshing sound, flew past his ear.
The sharp spear, glowing with vibrant green light, shot straight for the Black Pig People's face, scaring the opponent into immediately raising his mace to protect his face.
However, the wooden spear flying towards him, at the moment of contact with the mace, exploded into slender vines, tightly binding the Black Pig People.
These vines not only bound him but also tightened little by little, like a python coiling around its prey. Sharp wooden thorns also grew on the vines, piercing deeply into the Black Pig People's body.
The tips of the wooden thorns glowed with a faint green light, emitting a subtle fishy odor.
Each of those wooden thorns was, in fact, poisonous!
The Royal Army soldier stared blankly at the bound Black Pig People, the feeling of surviving a disaster causing him to collapse to the ground, breathing heavily. A green figure swiftly passed by him like the wind.
As the vines tightened and constricted, the wooden thorns pierced deeper into the Black Pig People's body, bringing extreme pain. The toxins invading his body made his body tremble violently.
The Treant Warrior that followed had hands glowing with vibrant green light, and two wooden spears appeared in his hands.
The Treant Warrior threw both spears with full force, and the two wooden spears deeply pierced into the fallen Black Pig People's body.
Upon impact, the intense pain made the Black Pig People shriek, but in the next second, his eyes bulged, and dozens of wooden thorns suddenly burst out from his body, breaking through his flesh with splashes of blood.
Two of the wooden thorns even pierced right through the Black Pig People's eyes, with sharp wooden tips protruding from his bleeding eye sockets, carrying two eyeballs.
The two wooden spears that had pierced his body had actually grown wooden thorns inside the Black Pig People, turning him into a porcupine.
Red smoke rose from the Black Pig People's body; the crown of embers didn't even have time to burn the enemy's life force, but the corpse slowly began to burn, serving to clear the battlefield.
In just two or three seconds, a Black Pig People that would have required seven or eight Royal Army soldiers to barely deal with was instantly killed.
The Royal Army soldier got up and bowed to the Treant Warrior, about to express his thanks, but found that the Treant Warrior completely ignored him, having already grabbed two more wooden spears at some point and turned towards the next target.
While the soldier was still in a daze, a vine silently wrapped around his waist. He only felt a huge pulling force from his waist, and he was pulled with a whoosh to a vine-tree that was wildly swinging its leaves, cutting down surrounding Orcs.
At the edge of the vine-tree, five other Royal Army soldiers were gathered at the base of the tree, panting heavily.
The sharp-eyed soldier immediately spotted his squad leader among them and quickly went to greet him.
"Captain! You're alive! That's great!" the soldier exclaimed in surprise, then looked at the vine-tree next to them and the rampaging Treant Warriors on the battlefield, "What's going on with these trees, and those Treant Warriors?"
The Royal Army soldier, referred to as the captain, embraced the team member who had just been rescued by the vine-tree and patted his shoulder.
The captain looked at the Treant Warriors almost charging head-on across the battlefield in the distance, and the giant Treant, seven meters tall, with an imposing face and a flaming crown burning on its head, also with a look of shock, "That must be a mutated War Ancient Tree, a rumored battlefield monster, a Magical Beast capable of influencing the tide of battle. I never thought it actually existed..."
The surrounding soldiers were utterly shocked by his words.
"Does the Kingdom actually hide such a strategic weapon?"
Meeting his team member's gaze, the captain shook his head, "The Kingdom does not possess such a strategic-level Magical Beast, let alone a mutated War Ancient Tree."
"This is a Summoned Beast of Ezreal, an S-Class Mage from Fairy Tail."
...With the Fire Crown Treant casting with full power, the entire battlefield gained over two thousand Treant Warriors wreaking havoc.
The battlefield, which was originally at a disadvantage, now, with the addition of this Treant Warrior unit, subtly began to show signs of being able to contend with the Orc forces.
In addition, the vine-trees that the Fire Crown Treant had frenzied using the Flower Seed Cannon provided a lot of convenience for friendly forces.
