Chapter 175 - Chapter 175 You don’t want Leibi to be in danger again, right?

Ezreal, in his spiritual form, raised and waved his hand. Behind him, the Fire Crown Treant immediately knelt on one knee, bowed its head to Ezreal, and then stood up and charged into the battlefield.

With its massive physique, the ground trembled with every step it took.

Ezreal floated in mid-air, his gaze somewhat complex as he looked at the few people in front of him, muttering, "Since the impact is unavoidable, why not let the butterfly's wings flap even harder?"

Laki looked at Ezreal in surprise, "What butterfly?"

Ezreal smiled, then waved his hand. In his spiritual form, his body was light and ethereal. He circled around the group once, then stopped above Levy's head.

Ezreal crouched down, his ethereal hand gently touched Levy's head, and he said calmly, "The reason you find yourselves in such danger, at its root, is because you are too weak."

Levy's eyes darkened, and she subconsciously placed her hands on her stomach.

Laki's grip on Levy's hand tightened slightly, and she glared at Ezreal, "Stop with the sarcastic remarks."

Jet and Droy exchanged glances, then lowered their heads in shame.

Ezreal tilted his head, raised a finger, and wiggled it, "In this world, all unfavorable situations are caused by the inadequacy of the individuals involved."

Laki frowned and raised a small fist, "Hey, you, your tone suddenly turned like Laxus! It's really annoying!"

Ezreal looked at Laki calmly, not speaking. His eyes showed no emotional fluctuation, which made Laki awkwardly lower her hand.

"If you want to become stronger, when it's your turn for a break, come find me at the Guild Library."

After saying this, Ezreal straightened up. The color of his body began to fade, starting from his feet, turning into specks of light that shattered and dispersed.

When only his upper body remained, Ezreal suddenly gave a mischievous smile, "You don't want Levy to encounter danger again, do you?"

Before his words finished, Ezreal's spiritual form had already dissipated into the air.

Jet and Droy both looked a bit grim.

They both, in unison, turned their gaze to the petite Levy, then exchanged glances with each other, neither speaking.

Laki, meanwhile, held Levy and rubbed her forehead, somewhat speechless, "This EZ guy..."

...Time came to the evening of the third day since the war broke out.

Otron City.

Ezreal's figure still stood motionless in the center of Blackrock Park, which had been reduced to ruins.

Beside him was a portal floating in the air, tightly pressed against him.

Two portals: one black and white, belonging to Newborn City.

One pure white, belonging to Ezreal's Dimensional Summoning.

A team of enforcement officers, wearing silver-white cloaks, with longswords at their waists and solemn expressions, rapidly approached Ezreal.

The ground tremors and the scent in the air alerted Ezreal, whose consciousness was immersed in the canyon, observing his Summoned Beasts feeding.

The next moment, his consciousness returned to his body. Ezreal slowly opened his eyes, looking at the group heading straight for him with some surprise, "This is the Magic Council's enforcement team?"

Ezreal had dealt with the Magic Council before, when he took down the Skull Gang for a bounty.

He recognized them at a glance from the style of their uniforms and the Council emblem on their buttons.

The leader wore glasses and had neat black hair tied back, appearing refined. However, he carried a rapier at his waist that was different from the other members.

From his upright posture and the sharpness in his brows, Ezreal confirmed that this person was considered a master within the Magic Council.

Moreover, this leader of the enforcement team seemed somewhat familiar.

"Hello, I am Lahar, captain of the Fourth Enforcement Squad!" The leading swordsman with glasses waved to halt his subordinates' advance, then took two steps forward to stand before Ezreal. He bowed to Ezreal with an expressionless face and introduced himself.

Upon hearing the name, Ezreal suddenly understood.

Isn't this that minor character who died in the Magic Council?

He had a few appearances, but not many lines. How did he die again? He'd forgotten... Ezreal, lost in thought about how the other person died, momentarily forgot to reply.

Lahar frowned slightly, seeing that the other party showed no reaction after his introduction and still looked somewhat dazed.

Lahar cleared his throat, interrupting Ezreal's wandering thoughts.

"Ah, how did he die... No, what brings you here?" Ezreal gave an awkward smile and asked Lahar.

Lahar frowned, then raised his hand and produced a crystal ball.

This crystal ball was about the size of a basketball, with ancient script flying and dancing within it.

Holding the crystal ball, Lahar showed it to Ezreal, "By order of the Council, we are to seal and close the enemy's portal."

Ezreal, having thoroughly explored the Guild Library, was quite knowledgeable. The ancient script within the crystal ball made his eyes light up slightly, "A magic array? Such a profound sealing magic array..."

From its complex writing and construction, it was clearly a profound magic array that could not be completed by one person, and it had sealing effects on various types of magic.

From the construction of several of the magic arrays, Ezreal recognized that they were related to the sealing of Summoning Magic and Light Magic.

This item's original purpose was definitely not to seal the portal to Newborn City.

However, with the current urgent situation, the Council had brought this out for emergency relief.

"No wonder it can, to a certain extent, command all legitimate guilds." After a brief thought, Ezreal smiled, "There are indeed masters within the Council."

Lahar subtly puffed out his chest, his expressionless face filled with solemnity, "The Council's foundation is naturally profound. Please, Sir Ezreal, step aside. I will close the enemy's portal."

Ezreal waved his hand, showing no intention of moving his feet.

He raised his hand and pointed behind him, at his own Dimensional Summoning portal, saying, "This place doesn't need sealing. Just leave it to me."

"All of the enemy's beastmen have been teleported to another world by me. My Summoned Beasts can deal with them. You can go close the portals elsewhere."

Lahar held the sealing crystal in his hand, his eyes growing cold. His other hand quietly gripped the hilt of his sword at his waist.

"Sir, the Council's mission is to seal the enemy portals appearing in various locations. Please do not make this difficult for me."

Ezreal looked at the swordsman, whose aura was gradually becoming sharper, with interest, a gentle smile on his face.

Lahar held up the sealing crystal in his hand and stepped forward, standing face to face with Ezreal. One was expressionless with sharp eyes, the other had a slight smile and gentle eyes.

Just as Lahar was about to say something, a voice sounded in his mind.

"Lahar, has prejudice made you forget your duty?"
