"Put the tray over there," Ava said to the care-giver she had hired to take care of Dr Phyl. He was served grilled salmon,with roasted vegetable and quinoa for lunch. Some berries were packed by the side, for him too. Ava had given instructions on the kind of meal he needed that would help lower his blood pressure, and she was diligent in doing just that.
She had been busy working contracts, visiting her lounge, and taking care of Alfred, caring for Dr Phyl, would be too much burden, not like it was her responsibility either. The doctor had asked her if she was family, empathy made her say yes. And now, she wished she hadn't.
