"How many times have you done this?" Anthonio asked Merrick over a video call.
"A couple of times, maybe more. The first time l tried it,to work some errors, it didn't give what l was expecting, until l updated the software l used, and that's where the problem was.
Anthonio nodded. His eyes shone with deep confusion. One which made him too weak and sick to speak. His hands trembled over the phone he held, and he tried to resist his mind from traveling down memory lane.
Three years ago, Marcus had discussed something similar with him. Some virus had damaged a vital chunk of data they had programmed in a chip. Fortunately, a huge part of the affected area was data they no longer needed, but because Marcus had seen Anthonio's eagerness to learn, he had patiently taken him through the process of what he had done to achieve results—like what Merrick had just done.
