Ethan grips the ledge and leans forward, nearly falling through the kitchen window. He strains his ears to try and hear what's being said between his mother and Julia, that's the woman's name. The front lobby may be empty but even through the silence, the two woman talk to low for him to hear anything. It's frustrating to say the least.
Between the amount the anonymous Investor offered and the low risk of the return rate, Roxanne would've been crazy to decline. Still, it was best they discussed the pros and cons, with the positive outweighing the negative.
