Mo Ran's expression was one of intense pain and struggle, suggesting that he hadn't died instantly but had struggled for a moment before passing away in silent agony.
Xiao Yan raised an eyebrow, his gaze moving from Mo Ran's painful expression to his throat, where his expression subtly changed. He saw a terrifying hole, the size of a coin, in his throat!
Xiao Yan could easily imagine the horrifying scene: Mo Ran's throat had been instantly pierced, and as he instinctively tried to resist, his Dou Qi became disordered. Xiao Yan had struck with his iron scale, sending Mo Ran flying, and his head had been momentarily stunned. In the midst of the crisis, Mo Ran's brain couldn't process everything quickly enough, and by the time he tried to cover the hole in his throat, it was too late. He had died in silent struggle.
