Chapter 200 - Chapter 201: Pirate Empress (Part 1)

Chapter 201: Pirate Empress (Part 1)

"That is Daughter Island." Everyone looked toward the island in the distance, where the words "Nine Snakes" were carved on a large mountain in the center. At the peak, three stone serpents arched high, each with three heads splitting beneath their bodies, symbolizing the connection between the snakes and the island.

'Ah, this is the land of men's dreams!'

"Ah, Eric -, what are you thinking?"

Eric shuddered, "Nothing!"

"That's it!" The Amazon warriors on watch, noticing the Fearless ship approaching, immediately rushed to the Nine Snake Palace.

"Huff, huff," Hancock, dressed in a red nightgown, gasped for air, lying in bed with a pained expression on her face. A sickly red hue covered her cheeks, and her pale arm was pressed against her forehead. She murmured in agony, "It hurts so much..."

Two tall sisters kneeled beside her, worry written on their faces, "Please, Lady, hold on!"

The red-spotted snake curled up, its head anxiously reaching toward Hancock's face.

"I heard the Snake Empress is ill," at that moment, a short old woman with a cane slowly entered Hancock's room.

"Grandma New!" Sandersonia asked with hope in her voice, "Do you have any way to cure Lady?"

"I don't know the exact illness, so I can't make any promises," Gloriosa leaned on her snake staff and stepped closer to examine Hancock. Her eyes widened in surprise. "This is...!"

The doctor attending to Hancock explained, "Because the Snake Empress has been clutching her chest, I think it might be a heart problem."

Gloriosa stared at Hancock's condition, silent for a moment. "Hmm..."

"But I'm not sure," compared to the knowledgeable Grandma New, the unseasoned Nine Snake doctor continued, "We've never seen such symptoms, so I don't know what kind of medicine to give her."

One of the female attendants, her face filled with concern, added, "Lady seems to be in a lot of pain. She hasn't eaten a single bite of food in the past three days."

"Hah...hah..." Hancock, lying in the sickbed, groaned, and her painful moans seemed to grow louder.

Gloriosa was astonished, looking at Hancock in shock, 'These are the symptoms of lovesickness! Why would the Snake Empress suddenly suffer from lovesickness?'

"Ding..." A sudden flash of insight hit Gloriosa, 'Could it be...?!'

Grandma New decided to try something, "Darren..."

"Ah ha~!"

"Eh."

"Hah..." Several words escaped Hancock's lips, and her painful groaning intensified.

"Snake Empress!"

"Grandma New, stop joking around!"

"Lady's suffering so much!"

Sandersonia and Marigold both chastised Gloriosa.

Grandma New turned around, a serious look on her face as she retorted, "I'm not joking."

"How could this be? How could this happen!" Gloriosa slapped her forehead, "She's contracted such a disease... What should we do?"

Everyone turned their gaze to Grandma New, "Grandma New, do you know what disease Lady has?"

"Do you have any idea?"

Hancock, struggling to speak, forced out, "Grandma New, I feel so bad... Hah... Will I... die?"

"Ah, yes, you will..." Grandma New's usual calm demeanor was replaced with seriousness and anxiety.

"What are you saying?"

"Stop making useless jokes, Grandma New!"

"The previous Empresses died from this disease. I've heard that the ones before also succumbed to it. Actually, I have the same illness, and I only survived after leaving the country."

Hearing Grandma New describe the death of past emperors, everyone around her was filled with fear.

"Lady won't be defeated by this disease!"

"Grandma New, you must know how to cure Lady! Please tell us!"

Grandma New spoke solemnly, "This is... this is lovesickness. The previous Empresses all died from falling in love. Only by seeing their beloved can they be cured!"

The group was stunned by both the cause and cure of the illness.

But Sandersonia , confused, asked, "But Lady hasn't met any man recently!"

"Yes," Marigold agreed, "We've been with Lady all the time."

Grandma New ignored their questions, her face grim. "At this point, we have no choice but to find that person and bring him before the Snake Empress. But..."

"No matter who it is, we will bring him here!" Marigold stood up.

"Yes, for Lady!"

"Do you know who the Snake Empress's lover is? Where is he?" Grandma New, looking worriedly at Hancock, asked, "Even if we do know, it might be too late..."

Could Hancock really hold on until then...

Even the World Government couldn't find the Dawn Pirates—how could they possibly locate them easily?

"Snake Empress, it's bad!" An Amazon warrior, running to deliver the news, shouted, "The 'Cruel Pirate' Darren Eric is attacking!"

"What did you say?!" Grandma New turned around in shock.

"What?!" Sandersonia flicked her tongue in disbelief, "He arrives when Lady is seriously ill..."

Sandersonia stood up to grab her large sword, "I'll stop them..."

"Whoosh," the white thin blanket flew off as Hancock, who had just been gravely ill and lying in bed, suddenly stood up.

"She's up..."

'What a coincidence!' Grandma New thought in surprise, 'Is this fate, meaning the Snake Empress is not meant to die, or...'

Former Empress Grandma New still advised, "Until we know the true intentions of the Dawn Pirates, we should..."

Hancock, her face full of joy, interrupted, "I want to see that person!"

"Wait, Snake Empress!" Grandma New reached out to stop her, but it was in vain.

...

The Fearless ship docked at the gate of Daughter Island, and Amazon warriors crowded both sides of the gate, many drawing their bows and aiming at Eric and his crew.

"How much longer do we have to wait here?" Deidara asked impatiently, fiddling with a sticky figure, "Let's just blow up the gate and go in. Hmm."

"Almost," Chiron replied, "Someone reported back a long time ago, and it's about time."

As they spoke, the gate adorned with the Nine Snake design slowly opened, and the Nine Snake pirate ship, with two large serpents at its bow, slowly approached.

Instead of staying inside the usual red cabin, Hancock stood at the bow, facing the wind.

Her jet-black hair, blown by the ship's movement, rippled in the hearts of those watching.

"Oh!" Kurikei and Gin were instantly captivated by her beauty. Even the two sisters, Carla Kana, said with hearts in their eyes, "Is this the legendary Pirate Empress? She's so beautiful!"

"I didn't see it. My art is much more beautiful. Hmm."

Eric looked at Deidara with disdain.

Deidara clenched his fist angrily, "Hey, what's with that look?"

Eric sneered and turned his head.

"Hey!"
