Chapter 62 - Splashing Blooms

"So, does Ai-neechan live here sometimes?" Judging by the various daily necessities in the living room, the apartment clearly showed signs of occupancy.

"Speaking of which, Ai-neechan did mention transferring to Shuchi'in Academy, didn't she…" Asa thought to himself as he walked toward the closed bedroom door.

"Could she be taking a nap?"

He gently turned the doorknob; it wasn't locked. The next moment, the door swung wide open.

"Asa-kun…" A soft moan escaped from her red lips.

However, the person lying on the bed wasn't Hoshino Ai. It was Saito Kyoko, with her long, shapely body and full-on mature Onee-san aura!

Asa witnessed the spectacular scene firsthand.

At the same time, Kyoko, whose body had just relaxed, was startled by the sound of the door opening and suddenly snapped her beautiful eyes open.

Oh no, Ai-chan saw me! My authority as her manager is completely gone…

"Ai-chan, I…" She instinctively tried to explain, but when she clearly saw the small figure in the doorway, her expression went blank.

Good news: It's not Ai! My manager's authority is saved!

Bad news: It's the very person she was just fantasizing about! This is even more socially humiliating!

Kyoko suddenly remembered that she might have just moaned Asa's name… At that moment, Kyoko's brain completely froze, leaving her mind a blank slate.

"A-Asa-kun… How, how did you get in?" Kyoko's mind had stalled, making her speech stutter.

"Ai-neechan gave me a key to this place before." Asa held up the key in his hand, his gaze subtly sweeping over Kyoko.

It had to be said that Kyoko was worthy of being a woman who had once been an idol. Her figure was remarkable. Unlike the naturally gifted curves of someone like Mrs. Yotsuya, or the inherent maturity of Mrs. Yukinoshita and Eri Kisaki, Kyoko's physique was clearly the tight, curvaceous result of years of dance practice. At thirty years old, she was at the perfect blend of beauty, figure, and presence. She perfectly epitomized the meaning of an Onee-san!

Kyoko vaguely noticed the subtle heat in Asa's eyes. That snapped her back to reality.

"Asa-kun, please go outside for a moment…" She instinctively jumped off the bed, intending to quickly walk past Asa and close the door, but her slick feet slid on the floor. Kyoko completely lost her balance and tumbled forward, taking the small figure in the doorway down with her.

"Mmm~"

Without any obstacles in the way, the power of the Lewd Hand was practically infinite!

A moment later, Kyoko struggled to stand up and close the door. Her voice, slightly trembling, wafted out. "Asa-kun, please wait in the living room…"

Kyoko dove headfirst under the covers, her exquisite face practically burning up. "I'm finished…" Being seen by Asa was bad enough, but what had happened just now… She couldn't even imagine what her image would become in Ai's eyes if she found out.

Kyoko hid under the covers, letting her mind race for a long time.

Knock, knock!

"Auntie Kyoko, are you alright? You didn't hurt yourself when you fell, did you?" The little shota's tender, gentle, and caring voice came through. Kyoko's body trembled slightly. She rubbed her knee, which had hit the floor just now; it stung faintly, but the sensation of arousal almost completely masked the pain.

She threw off the blanket, her consciousness gradually clearing. "Don't worry, Asa-kun, I'm fine!" Kyoko bit her lip. It's just that the after-effects are pretty intense… She couldn't understand. It was just a fall, after all…

"Could it be that I really have feelings for Asa-kun…?" Kyoko's already flushed face reddened even more as she recalled the unfinished dream.

....

After changing her clothes and returning to the living room, she faced the obedient little shota. Previously, Kyoko had liked Asa a lot, but because of his young appearance, she maintained her identity as an adult and her restraint. Now… just sitting across from him made her feel a little restless and flustered.

Asa noticed Kyoko sitting there, slightly fidgeting, and understood her embarrassment. He chose to change the subject.

"Auntie Kyoko, when did you get here? Did Ai-neechan come too?"

"Just yesterday. Ai also successfully transferred to Shuchi'in," Kyoko quickly said, even mentioning the transfer.

"Ai-neechan didn't tell me?"

"She wanted to give you a surprise…" Kyoko said, her expression gradually growing complicated. A surprise certainly appeared. It just happened to be for her…

Just then, Kyoko's phone rang. It was Hoshino Ai. Kyoko's heart skipped a beat the moment she saw the caller ID. She had a strange sense of déjà vu, like being caught cheating.

Answering the call, Ai's cheerful voice came through the receiver. "Kyoko-nee, the school festival performance is about to start! Are you awake yet?"

"J-just woke up…"

"Then, I'm counting on you, Kyoko-nee, to bring Asa-kun over later. Don't tell him, though! He's going to be so surprised!"

Kyoko listened to Ai's excited voice and instinctively glanced at the little shota in front of her. Asa could vaguely hear the conversation through the receiver and quickly put a finger to his lips, shushing her.

Kyoko nodded and replied to Ai. "Okay, I'll head over now."

After hanging up the phone, Kyoko's heart was pounding. Conspiring with Asa, the person Ai cared about most, to keep a secret from Ai gave her a strange thrill.

"Asa-kun, what are you going to do next?"

"Just follow Ai-nee's plan!"

"She must have been preparing for this surprise for a long time."

"So, I need to cooperate with her fully."

Kyoko's red lips couldn't help but part slightly when she heard the little shota's serious words, and a hint of envy rose in her heart. She finally understood why Ai held Asa, her non-biological younger brother, in such high regard.

....

Inside the School Festival Auditorium, the students were conducting their final rehearsals. The Shuchi'in auditorium could seat an audience of thousands. For regular students, this would likely be the largest audience they would ever perform for. Therefore, everyone took the stage very seriously.

Sawako Yamanaka, the music teacher, was in charge of coordinating the site.

"B-Komachi, it's your turn to come up and adjust your equipment!" Sawako looked at the roster in her hand, then spoke into the microphone. Her voice echoed throughout the hall, causing everyone to stop what they were doing and look over at the four girls below the stage.

No, to be precise, they were looking at the girl standing in the center, the C-position.

Hoshino Ai!

Without a doubt, she was an absolutely perfect idol. In just two short years, as the absolute C-position, she had made the name B-Komachi explode in the underground idol scene. It was fair to say that all of B-Komachi's popularity was carried by her. And she was only a 14-year-old girl!

"Huh, shouldn't a 14-year-old be in the Middle School division?" Yui Hirasawa, the cute-looking, husky-voiced girl from the Light Music Club, spotted the oversight.

The other three girls from the Light Music Club were also stunned.

"Oh yeah, why?"

"Sawa-chan-sensei, do you know?" Ritsu Tainaka, the Light Music Club president, asked, unceremoniously patting Sawako's shoulder.

Sawako was used to this. She pushed up her glasses and said flatly, "She wanted to, why else?"

This wasn't without precedent. Sometimes, students from the Middle School wanted to show the seniors who had moved up to the High School their growth. Shuchi'in was quite open-minded about this sort of thing. Although, even she didn't know why Hoshino Ai, a newly transferred Middle School student, was so insistent on performing for the High School division.

"Maybe she wants to show us useless high school girls what's what?"

"Like, from now on, Shuchi'in will be ruled by her, and all the other cultural clubs will have to pay tribute to her…"

"Waaah, are we going to have to live under her silver power from now on?"

"Don't worry, Ricchan, we still have Mugi-chan's cake! We'll offer that as tribute!"

"Yui-chan…"

"Ricchan…"

"Waaah, we won't be able to eat little cakes anymore!"

"Don't worry, we have more than enough cakes at my house!" Tsumugi Kotobuki, the Light Music Club's sole supplier, reassured them.

Mio Akiyama watched Yui and Ritsu perform their antics with an expressionless face. Unable to bear it any longer, she lightly punched Ritsu three times!

"Ouch, that hurts! Why do you only hit me?!"

Mio glared at them irritably and said, "You guys are thinking too crudely about her!"

With that, she watched Ai sing and dance while adjusting the equipment on stage. Despite how easy she made it look, Mio could clearly feel the intensity and seriousness she put into every move. Even during a rehearsal, her smile, dancing, and voice were perfectly flawless. Mio could almost foresee the fervent cheering that would respond to Ai's performance when the audience seats were full.

"She's incredible," Mio said with admiration. Compared to their novice band, the younger Ai was already a full-fledged idol!

"Because she worked hard for it," Sawako said with emotion, looking at Ai on stage. Then, she looked down at the girls of the Light Music Club and encouraged them, "You all worked hard, too! Believe in yourselves!"

That simple sentence instantly moved the four girls, who were about to go on stage for the first time.

"Sawa-chan-sensei, I can't believe you said something so teacher-like!"

"What do you mean 'teacher-like'? I am your teacher!" Sawako roared. "Alright, it's your turn next. Hurry up and change into your outfits and get on stage!"

Mio's expression stiffened as she looked at the dazzling idol stage outfits Sawako held out. "Can I not wear this…?"

"Dame! You absolutely have to wear this!"

A while later, B-Komachi left the stage to rest. The four girls of the Light Music Club, now changed, went up to adjust their equipment. Mio, wearing a black dress, stood at the front in the C-position. Looking out at the nearly empty auditorium, she pictured the scene of being watched by nearly a thousand audience members. Her pretty face instantly turned scarlet.

"This is, this is so embarrassing…" She turned around, looking at Yui with a pleading gaze. "Yui, maybe you should be the lead singer instead…"

"But my voice is hoarse. It'll take a few more days to recover…"

"Ugh…" Mio turned back, miserable. "It's too late to back out now."

After giving herself an internal pep talk, Mio worked with the others to adjust the equipment. She sang a simple rendition of Fuwa Fuwa Time. The few audience members present looked at them with slight surprise. This surprised and appreciative gaze gave the girls confidence. Mio's voice gradually steadied. After half a song of Fuwa Fuwa Time, applause broke out.

Mio let out a huge sigh of relief. Her eyes fell on a small figure below the stage. It was an extremely handsome little shota! In the boy's magnificent eyes, she saw appreciation and affirmation. It gave her a substantial boost of confidence!

"I can do this!" Mio thought, and she was about to leave the stage to make way for the next group to rehearse. Unexpectedly, just as she took a step, she tripped over the audio cable plugged into the speaker. Her body lost balance and she fell off the stage.

"Ahh…"

Below the stage, Asa watched the blue-and-white teacup pattern fall toward him. He instinctively reached out to catch her.

Don't misunderstand, he thought, he only did it because Mio's bass was so expensive. It would be a huge shame if it broke.

The next moment, the service broadcast began.
