"Asa-kun, we'll sit here." Kyoko led Asa to a spot slightly to the left of the center audience section and sat down, holding his hand.
Shuchi'in Academy was incredibly wealthy; the auditorium seating consisted entirely of cinema-style chairs. With soft padding on the seats and cushioned backs, even a slender figure could feel a soft, enveloping comfort. Crucially, the armrests of these chairs could be raised. Kyoko noticed this small detail immediately. As she sat down, she naturally lifted the armrest between the two chairs. Instantly, the individual chairs became a seamlessly joined loveseat.
Holding Asa's hand, Kyoko spoke to him casually. "It might get crowded later, Asa-kun. Why don't you sit a little closer to me…"
Asa looked down when he heard that. The seat cushion was large; even with Kyoko's ample backside slightly sinking into the soft cushion, there was still plenty of room. With the middle armrest gone, and the two cushions practically joined, the space was even larger. Given Asa's small stature, he could probably lie down and use Kyoko's round thigh as a pillow!
Kyoko also noticed this and, picturing Asa resting his head on her lap, felt a slight tremor of excitement in her body and mind.
Although she was just Ai's manager, she had always treated Ai like a little sister and even planned to eventually adopt her and become her guardian. Therefore, the little brother whom Ai valued so much was naturally her little brother too.
Giving her little brother a warm lap pillow was perfectly reasonable, wasn't it? Kyoko thought this in her heart, then spoke. "If Asa-kun is tired, you can lean on Auntie to rest."
Asa shook his head. "I'm not tired yet…" With that, he leaned closer to Kyoko. Their bodies were practically pressed together.
Kyoko felt a little disappointed that she didn't get to give Asa a lap pillow. However, being able to sit so close to Asa and feel the subtle pleasantness he radiated was already satisfying enough. The school festival performance would last a long time, so she was in no rush.
'Perhaps when it gets crowded, I can even hold Asa-kun in my arms…' Just imagining this scene, Kyoko's heart instantly surged with excitement.
"Asa-kun?"
Just as Kyoko's fantasy moment was beginning, an elegant, slightly husky Onee-san voice rang out next to her. Kyoko and Asa turned their heads in slight surprise. In the dim light of the auditorium, an Onee-san wearing oversized sunglasses that covered most of her face appeared before them.
"Yukiko… nee-san?" Asa easily named her, looking at her fair skin that the dim light couldn't conceal.
"Asa-kun recognized onee-san right away! It seems you do think about me!" Yukiko's red lips curved into a pleased smile under her sunglasses, and she sat down directly next to Asa with a slight thump of her ample hip.
It was then that Asa noticed Ran Mouri standing behind her. "Ran-neesan," he greeted.
Ran's face flashed with shyness. The moment she saw Asa, the scene from the haunted house instantly flashed in her mind, and her powerful, well-toned legs involuntarily tensed slightly.
"Asa-kun is here too." She replied and sat down next to Yukiko.
Kyoko looked at the figure sitting snugly against Asa, narrowed her beautiful eyes, and spoke. "I'm Saito Kyoko, Asa-kun's auntie. And you two are?"
Yukiko removed her large sunglasses, revealing her gorgeous face, and said cheerfully. "I'm Fujimine Yukiko, and I'm Asa-kun's sister. And this is Ran Mouri, a Shuchi'in student, and she's also Asa-kun's sister." Yukiko put extra emphasis on the word "sister."
"Fujimine Yukiko? The nationwide superstar?"
"That's right, but I retired from acting over ten years ago, so I'm hardly a big star anymore," Yukiko said with smug humility.
A hint of surprise flashed in Kyoko's beautiful eyes. A decade ago, she was just starting out as an idol, so she naturally knew this woman who had already gained global fame at the same age she was now.
Yukiko was once an object of admiration for her, the small idol! She hadn't expected to meet her at the Shuchi'in school festival. And that she knew Asa-kun! And seemed quite close to him… A woman her age claiming to be Asa-kun's 'sister'?! Kyoko instantly gained a full understanding of the former superstar's level of narcissism.
Kyoko narrowed her beautiful eyes, staring at Yukiko's body pressed tightly against Asa, feeling a surge of displeasure in her heart. This woman dared to sit right next to Asa without any regard! That position belonged to her, the future guardian of Asa's sister, Hoshino Ai!
At this moment, Yukiko's beautiful eyes were also subtly scrutinizing Kyoko. Her beautiful face, perfect figure, and mature, Onee-san aura were similar to hers in several ways. However, she hadn't heard the name, so she shouldn't be someone Eri Kisaki knew.
So where did this 'Auntie' come from? Could she compare to her, Eri Kisaki's best friend and Asa's biological mother's closest confidante? What was her status? And she dares to sit next to Asa?
The two women's beautiful eyes met, and both saw hostility in the other's gaze. Where their eyes connected, sparks seemed to fly.
Asa, squeezed between the two soft bodies, was utterly at ease. Just as the two Onee-sans, whose faces were brimming with feigned kindness, were internally plotting how to get rid of the other, a gentle and mature voice suddenly rang out.
"Asa-kun? What are you doing here?"
Yukiko and Kyoko turned their heads abruptly. In the slightly dim light, a full-figured, beautiful woman walked toward them with a hint of surprise.
Immediately, to the astonishment of both Yukiko and Kyoko, the beautiful young woman simply picked Asa up from between them. Her manner was so natural, her actions so practiced. It was clear she had held him many times!
"Auntie Yotsuya!"
"Yotsuya-nee!" Asa greeted her.
"We were going to head over to your stall to grab some takoyaki before heading home." Mrs. Yotsuya's eyes carried a charm that only Asa could understand as she spoke to him.
"That's great, Auntie Yotsuya. If you like it, I can make you an extra serving later." Asa smiled slightly and promised.
Seeing the little shota being picked up by a young woman, Yukiko and Kyoko couldn't sit still. They quickly stood up.
"And who is this?"
Mrs. Yotsuya was momentarily startled, seeing the two beautiful, Onee-san figures looking at her with hostility in their eyes. That look… she was very familiar with it. Right, it was the same look Mrs. Sawamura had given her. Instantly, Mrs. Yotsuya understood. She couldn't help but sigh in her heart.
'As expected of Asa-kun, there are just too many women coveting him…'
However, as a young woman who had already tasted Asa's flavor and was only half a step away from the final prize, Mrs. Yotsuya naturally adopted the posture of a successful woman.
"I'm Yotsuya Touko, Asa-kun's auntie." She put Asa down, but their hands remained clasped, and her slender fingers even subtly curled against Asa's palm.
"Auntie?" Kyoko narrowed her beautiful eyes.
"Asa-kun and my daughter Miko are very close and he often comes over to play at my house," Touko said calmly.
Yukiko and Kyoko glanced at Miko, who was squatting beside Touko and whispering to Asa. She was a very cute girl, and her figure seemed to have inherited some of the voluptuousness of her mother.
However, compared to the young girl, they felt that the mother in front of them was far more menacing. Yet, they failed to notice the intense, natural affection in the eyes of the young girl who was talking to Asa.
As the first girl to 'sexually bond' with Asa, Miko was non-competitive. As long as Asa held her in his heart, everything else was enough.
The three young women, all of similar age, were now completely at loggerheads.
After their introductions, even Mrs. Yotsuya, who considered herself only half a step away from possessing Asa, felt her pressure double.
A little while later, the Sawamura mother and daughter also appeared.
"Asa-kun?" Upon seeing Asa, both Sayuri and Eriri were momentarily surprised, and happiness instinctively bloomed in their hearts. But they immediately remembered the awkward situation between them caused by the morning's incident in the Art Club, and their expressions became unnatural. They had come to the school festival performance hoping to briefly put their embarrassment aside, only to run into Asa.
However, the awkward atmosphere didn't last more than a few seconds. That's because they saw the beautiful Onee-sans and Yotsuya Touko gathered around Asa.
Sayuri and Eriri's breathing hitched. Placing Asa between the two of them might have been a dilemma, but placing Asa between the other women and the two of them made the previous dilemma nonexistent. When facing an external enemy, they absolutely had to unite to deal with the others first!
"Asa-kun, why are you here?" The familiar greeting caused all the women present to turn their heads and look at the mother-daughter pair.
"Another one…" Yukiko slightly narrowed her beautiful eyes, her gaze resting on Sayuri.
Kyoko was even more astonished and bewildered. In her imagination, shouldn't she have been sitting next to Asa, watching the performance? How, in a matter of minutes, had so many competitors appeared?
As time passed, more and more people entered the auditorium. The student performances gradually began. The opening act was the Rock Club; as Shuchi'in students, their skills were solid, and they quickly livened up the atmosphere in the hall.
The audience stood up and cheered for a bit, which suited Yukiko and the other women perfectly. If they were sitting, who would sit next to Asa? With so many people, it was too chaotic! If they were standing, at least they could all stand near Asa.
B-Komachi, with its established fan base, was a clear example of a Dimensionality Attack on a stage mostly filled with ordinary students like those at Shuchi'in. Before B-Komachi even took the stage, the audience seats showed numerous fan-made signs, most of them shining with Ai's name.
This atmosphere reached a frantic climax the moment B-Komachi and Ai appeared. It delivered a full blast of idol shock to the parents and teachers present.
"Ai-chan!!!"
"Ai-chan!!!"
Unfamiliar fans, acting as if they had practiced countless times, shouted in unison with synchronized, orderly cheering. Combined with the lively dancing of the girls on stage, the school auditorium seemed to transform into an Hoshino Ai concert.
On stage, Ai's eyes constantly scanned the audience below. Because there were simply too many people and the lighting wasn't bright enough, she couldn't find Asa's figure. But it didn't matter. She was certain that Asa's eyes would be fixed on her the entire time.
"Next is a song my little brother wrote for me…"
....
Kyoko patted Asa and looked at Ai, who was shining on the stage.
"Ai-neechan is working very hard," Asa said with emotion.
Kyoko fell silent at his words, picturing the scenes of Ai's intense training recently. Kyoko knew clearly that Ai's hard work up to this point was all for Asa. Transferring to Shuchi'in was for a chance to get closer to him.
Her high-profile performance in the High School festival was even more so a way to tell Yukino that even she, a girl from an orphanage, could shine so brightly, could back up Asa, and had the right to compete to be Asa's sister!
Kyoko fully supported her in this and, knowing the depth of the relationship between Asa and Ai, she was very optimistic about Ai's chances.
But now…
"Saito-san, you must be tired. How about you close your eyes for a bit?" The elegant, slightly husky Onee-san voice of Yukiko rang in her ear. Yukiko was looking at her with a face full of feigned kindness.
Kyoko turned her head to look. The united front of the Sawamura mother and daughter, the self-assured Yotsuya mother and daughter… She hadn't realized that Ai's competition extended far beyond Yukino!
"For Ai-chan, I have to try my best too!" Kyoko tightly hugged the little shota, a look of determination flashing in her eyes.
