Chapter 94 - Two Years Later

"Admiral Seiryu, here is today's updated list of proposed bounties."

(Seiryu = Azure Dragon)

In a spacious office in Marineford, Renji sat idly in his chair, a large 'Justice' banner hanging on the wall behind him.

"Excellent. By the way, how many times have I told you? When it's just the two of us, you can just call me boss."

Renji looked at Miguel in front of him, a gratified expression on his face.

After the Marineford War two years ago, Miguel had undergone a transformation.

Now, he had not only completely mastered the Six Styles but had also awakened Observation Haki, and his Armament Haki had advanced to intermediate level. He was also not far from advanced Armament Haki, perhaps only lacking a life-and-death struggle.

If they were to face the Shambles incident from back then now, Miguel would undoubtedly be able to single-handedly block a Supernova.

Miguel looked at the man in front of him, his eyes filled with uncontrollable admiration and fanaticism.

Two years ago, with the capture of Fire Fist Ace, the heir of Pirate King Roger, as the fuse, the massive war at Marineford erupted.

Admiral Seiryu, who was then a Marine Captain, leaped to become a current Admiral, hailed as the strongest monster of the new era of the Marine.

"Yes, boss." Miguel responded with a smile.

For him, Renji was not only a comrade who had faced life and death with him and his former boss in the training camp, but also the guide who enabled him to achieve his current accomplishments.

Miguel's skills improved rapidly under Renji's tutelage.

Renji, with his upgraded Lv. 6 Heavenly Six Eyes, possessed extremely high standards in helping others identify and correct their shortcomings.

He was very pleased with Miguel's current growth.

Although he wouldn't call himself a famous teacher, he was far superior to certain people would only tell the protagonist to lay a good foundation and figure things out on their own, saying, 'If you don't lay a good Haki foundation, how can you learn it?'

Of course, compared to Kaido's crash course in advanced Conqueror's Haki, he felt inferior.

"By the way, Akainu still hasn't agreed?" Renji suddenly asked.

Knowing what he was referring to, Miguel showed a hint of awkwardness.

"Uh... Boss, if I may be frank, I don't think anyone would agree to that."

At the same time, in another spacious office.

Akainu, with a cigar in his mouth, looked at the proposed bounty amount, his hand gradually clenching.

"Damn it! What in the world is Renji thinking?!"

He looked at the picture of a harmless-looking raccoon licking a marshmallow on the document. He absolutely could not approve the 1.5 billion bounty Renji had set for it.

"Does he think Marine's bounty vault is his backyard, or is this guy some special ancient Zoan type?!"

...

In Renji's office.

Looking at the file about Chopper on the table, Renji stroked his chin, a thoughtful expression on his face.

"Could it be that the angle of this candid shot isn't fierce enough? Tsk... I need to find Vegapunk to issue a certificate for him. Miguel, do you think the title 'Zoan, Mythical Beast, Human-Human Fruit, Nine-Tails Demon Form' is worth 1.5 billion?"

"Uh... Boss, I think it is." Miguel pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement.

Hearing this, Renji smiled and stood up. "Let's go, I can't let Morgans laugh at me."

Then, Renji and Miguel left the office.

On the table were various candid photos of the Straw Hats over the past two years.

Sanji being chased by transvestites on the beach, Zoro being chased and cut down by a group of baboons in the forest, Robin whose skin was getting fairer in the snow, and Luffy being personally tutored by the renowned Rayleigh in Amazon Lily.

And so on...

For the individuals who would significantly impact the world two years later, their movements were now almost all in Renji's hands.

Two years was enough time to accomplish many things.

For example, secretly bringing Morgans, the president of the World Economy News, under his wing.

Everything started when his prestige level rose to Lv. 6.

Of course, that's a long story, so it won't be elaborated on here.

Another thing was to take Doflamingo, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, as his secret subordinate.

However, Doflamingo was the most disobedient of his subordinates, but it was harmless.

That story was much simpler and cruder.

One night, under a dark and windy sky, Doflamingo was comfortably leaning on a soft sofa, moonlight streaming through the window.

Violet in his arms was already asleep when a figure suddenly stood by the window.

"Yo, long time no see."

"You are...?! Fufufu... Admiral Seiryu, what brings you here late at night?"

Doflamingo instantly entered combat mode, the veins bulging on his forehead indicating his extreme unease.

He remembered how, during the Marineford War, Renji, that madman, had publicly executed Hancock, who was still a warlord at the time.

Although it was later found that Hancock had violated the Warlord regulations, not only illegally harboring and concealing a pirate criminal wanted by the World Government on Amazon Lily Island, but also assisting Luffy and Marshall D. Teach in breaking out of Impel Down, and wantonly attacking Marine soldiers at Marineford.

Based on these numerous crimes, and after confirmation by former Fleet Admiral Sengoku, it was determined that Admiral Seiryu had uncovered Hancock's criminal acts and killed her on the spot, fulfilling his duties.

Despite the pressure from the Amazon Lily Kingdom, Renji received no punishment.

Before that day's Marineford War, Doflamingo never would have imagined that this ominous figure would one day actively seek him out, especially since he had kindly warned him about the CP organization's intentions towards him.

However, later, probably out of fear of Renji's strength and his affiliation with Garp and Sengoku's faction, there were no further actions.

Why was this guy coming to see him so late at night?

Many thoughts flashed through Doflamingo's mind, but Renji had no such distractions. He was simply there for future planning.

Although Doflamingo's combat power wasn't particularly impressive, the information network he controlled made Renji envious.

As for how to make him willingly hand it over, Renji's methods were simple and crude: coercion, plus fist-to-flesh combat.

After a brief statement, he made his intentions clear.

Doflamingo, who was usually incredibly smart, perhaps under the influence of the World's Will, could not allow Renji to disrupt the plot's progression.

A sinister smile appeared beneath his pink sunglasses.

"Fufufu, I refuse."

Then, under Violet's shocked gaze.

Boom!

Late at night, a figure flew to the Dressrosa port street, creating a huge crater.

Doflamingo, the person involved, lay in the crater, then went to the hospital.

After a night of contemplation, he became docile, at least on the surface.

This was the whole story of the "Night Sky Flyer" incident that shocked Dressrosa.

There were even rumors that the crater was caused by a fallen moon treasure.

As for Buggy, he was not only the least troublesome for Renji but also helped him harvest a large number of bounty points.

Those who listened became his subordinates, those who didn't were killed.

And Buggy could occasionally give him some surprises, which was quite good.

"Boss, didn't you say you were going to find Vegapunk? Why are we in Shambles?" Miguel asked, following beside Renji, somewhat puzzled.

Renji just smiled faintly.

He was here, of course, to welcome Luffy's departure. After all, two years ago, he had dispersed this group of people right here.

When doing things, one must see them through from beginning to end.

"Considering the time, it should be soon, right?"
