James and Arabella exchanged surprised glances. Meanwhile, Edith and Callum wondered if they had actually known each other for a long time. This was the first time they had seen James look at someone differently than usual. They grew increasingly suspicious that there was a special connection between James and Arabella, but they had always kept it a secret.
"How did you get here?" James asked in a surprised tone.
"I actually wanted to ask you a question. How do you know Callum?" Arabella replied, also surprised.
"Because I've been friends with Callum for a long time."
Callum couldn't contain his curiosity any longer. He looked at his two friends with a smirk. "Do you actually know each other?"
A confident smile spread across his handsome face. "Arabella is my ex-girlfriend."
"What?!" Edith and Callum screamed in unison.
"Sorry, I didn't tell you guys before."
