Chapter 90 - CHAPTER - 90 ZHUI RU NI DE HUAI BAO ( FALLING INTO YOUR ARMS)

Zhao Shiza… Yang Lulu said on the phone call. Her voice seemed very different from usual, like it was carrying some kind of fear in it. I haven't heard Yang Lulu like this ever. Her voice sounded worried.

I finally spoke and said, "Yang Lulu, what happened? Why are you sounding like you are very scared?" I asked her.

"Zhao Shiza… he… he came today at my place," she said in her breaking voice.

I understood who he was the moment she said he came to her place. My blood started boiling. My whole expression changed into rage.

"How dare he?" I said. "Tell me, he didn't hurt you, right?" I asked in a worrying tone.

"No, he didn't. Just when I was telling the truth to my parents, he came at that exact moment and told them the truth by himself only. He just started cursing my parents and broke the engagement by throwing the ring on my face in front of my parents," she cried while talking about it.

"Yang Lulu, relax first. Tell me, is your parents' health okay? Are they fine?" I asked.

"Yes, they are, but they are disappointed in me. They believed him. They think that I did some mistake, that's why he called off the wedding."

"Yang Lulu, first relax and take a deep breath. Sooner or later, the truth will definitely come out in front of your parents, and on that day they won't be able to deny it. No matter how much hard we try to hide the truth, it will come out one day definitely," I said.

Then after a pause of a few seconds, I asked her, "Did they blame you for that?"

"No… I just don't know. They went silent the moment he left my house after telling the truth. He just didn't let me speak and put all the blame on me, saying that because of me he is breaking this wedding of us," she said.

"Yang Lulu, this time you should take care of your parents and your health first. His plans and things come secondary. The only thing that should matter to you at this time is your parents' mental and physical health.

Parents are the blessings from heaven sent by God to us, and for our whole life we have to be grateful for that blessing. Some unlucky ones, even after having their parents with them, are not truly with them. But you fall into the category of lucky ones, so don't waste your thinking on that ridiculous person. Trust me, if I ever get a chance again to face him face to face, I'll definitely punch his face," I said.

Yang Lulu finally laughed a little after hearing this.

"What are you doing? I didn't disturb you, right?" she asked me.

"No, not at all. I am just waiting for the car," it slipped from my mouth, but I corrected it immediately. "I mean, I am just waiting for my cab to arrive."

"Are you somewhere?" she asked.

"Hmm, just hanging around with my friends," I said.

"Ooo, that one. I remember her. Your friend, what's her name… mmm… yes, Wang Ruoxi, right?" she asked me.

"Hmm," I said.

"Okay then, you guys enjoy. I hope I didn't spoil your mood," she said.

"Now you are definitely spoiling my mood by saying such things," I said.

Then suddenly I heard the sound of a car approaching towards me. I think he came back after taking his car from the parking lot.

"Okay, I am hanging up. The cab has arrived. Bye-bye," I said.

"Bye-bye," she replied, and the call ended.

The car headlight was on, even though there was enough light on the road. The driving style became quite different.

Why is he driving so harshly? I asked myself. He never did.

The headlight was focusing on me now. I couldn't see anything properly. The car was coming closer and closer to me with such high and rough driving.

Then the car finally reached me.

It didn't stop.

Because of that bright headlight, I couldn't see anything, and it hit me.

I fell down right away on that road. The car went off from there fast, very fast.

I tried to call for help, but my voice was not coming out of my throat. My phone was lying in front of me, but I couldn't reach it. My hands were shaking, filled with blood. My vision started blurring.

The only thing I could see from my eyes now was the dark sky… and his face… his smiling face.

My Yuan's face.

Then I felt sleepy. I wanted to sleep.

Is it a dream or what?

Meanwhile, when Yuan reached the spot where he left me, he saw through his car that I was not there. He got quite furious.

"Where did she go?" he asked himself.

He stopped the car and started looking here and there through his window but couldn't find me.

Then he stepped out of his car.

The moment he stepped out, he saw blood near his shoes. Blood that was making a path.

He followed the blood. His legs started shaking.

Then he saw me.

"I couldn't believe what my eyes just saw."

He ran towards me and fell down on his knees. There was so much blood around me. I was covered with blood. My white dress, on which I was looking like a fairy, was now covered with stains of blood. My head was continuously bleeding like nonstop running water from a tap.

"What happened to you? Speak to me. What happened to you?" he asked while tapping my cheeks with his hands.

I was barely conscious. I tried to remain conscious and said in pain, "Yuan… you came."

"Yes, I came, my silly girl. But what did you do to yourself? I just left you for a few minutes, and this is what you did to yourself."

I smiled faintly and said, "I am feeling sleepy. I want to sleep. Take me back to the dorm."

"Don't say these things. I won't let you sleep. I won't—"

But just after that, I lost consciousness. My eyes shut like I drifted off into a deep sleep.

"No!" he screamed. "Wake up! Wake up, you silly girl!"

He continuously tapped my cheeks to make me conscious, but nothing worked. His heart stopped beating seeing me like this.

Just a few minutes before, I was happily dancing with him, matching the steps with him, and now I was lying on the road covered with blood.

My whole white dress had completely become red, like it was never white in colour.

He didn't know what to do. He couldn't wait for the ambulance.

"I have to do this," he said to himself.

He immediately took me in his arms. His hands were shaking while lifting me, but he had to do it.

He took me into the car and made me sit on the passenger seat. He pulled out the seat belt and placed it over me. My head was swinging, but he placed it back on the seat.

He shut the car door, locked it, and ran towards the driving seat.

He started the car and drove towards the hospital.

He switched on the location map, but the network was quite low. It was taking time.

He looked at me. My face was covered with blood, but it looked like I was just sleeping after doing a lot of hard work today.

He couldn't see me like this.

Blood was still flowing from my head nonstop. He took out his handkerchief and tried to hold it, but the more tightly he pressed, the more forcefully the blood flowed. Within a blink of a second, the handkerchief was completely filled with blood.

He raised the speed of the car and drove like a mad person.

Finally, he reached the hospital.

He immediately got out of the car, went to my side, opened the door, and removed the seat belt.

The moment he removed it, I fell into his arms.

"Still like this, you are clinging to me," he said. "I swear, I swear I will punish you for scaring me like this."

My face had become pale. My lips were white. My eyes were closed like I was seeing some dream.

Tears formed in his eyes.

"Didn't you say I am your dream? So open your eyes right away and see, your dream is beside you."

He pressed my head to his chest. His tears fell on my skin.

"You are not allowed to leave me like this. I won't let you. Didn't we need to build our future together? This is your boyfriend's order. Wake up right now."

He broke down into tears.

"You silly girl… my silly girl. You love making me panic and scared, but this time I won't let you win."

He took me into his arms and rushed inside the hospital.

His hands were shaking. His heart was beating so fast anyone could hear it.

All he could see was me in his arms—unconscious, covered fully with blood—yet looking like I was watching some beautiful dream.

And he knew that dream had him in it.

His legs started shaking as he walked fast through the hospital corridor. He couldn't wait for the lift, so he ran on the stairs.

"Be there… just be there, silly girl. We almost reached."

He didn't know whether he was saying it for me or for himself.

He reached the third floor, ran to the reception, and...
