To Yuhao, Ruoxi was one of his new beginnings, a family who he had, his mother Huo Yun'er was a great woman, a kind and loving woman yet also....she was obsessed, she was obsessed over Dai Hao, over getting his love.
No matter what way Yuhao looked at it, his Mom's love for Dai Hao was more of a submission rather than love yet to her, that was the greatest love she had received and also one of the first. She treated Yuhao well and was a genuinely loving mom but she didn't treat herself as an individual.
So, to Yuhao, Ruoxi who was more of a child who had suffered and was similar to himself yet also someone who can love and learn, someone who genuinely treated herself and him as individuals.
He'd help everyone he loves, he'll help his Mom discover herself and learn love, he'll help Ruoxi be happy and carefree, he'll help his friends achieve their goals, he'll help Mother become stronger, he'll do it all!
