A dark silhouette was ejected from the center of the blast.
It was Excadrill.

The steel mole was launched backward, skidding along the ground before finding its footing.
The Solar Beam had successfully repelled it, but it hadn't dealt significant damage. Excadrill was Level 95, after all, and the lingering sandstorm provided it with a defensive boost.

Excadrill lashed out with its claws. In an instant, massive boulders materialized in the air above Bellossom, crashing down toward the small target.

But as the stones fell, Excadrill didn't stop. It crossed its claws, infusing them with Dark-type energy and scraping them together with a sound that set everyone's teeth on edge.
Simultaneously, a high-pitched, screeching noise erupted from the Pokémon.

It was a brilliant tactical move: sharpening its own accuracy and power while systematically shredding the opponent's special defense.
Facing the falling boulders from above, Bellossom reacted with characteristic elegance.

Her voice, normally sweet, became a resonant, booming shout. The sheer volume was deafening, physically pushing back against Excadrill's sonic attack and drowning it out completely.

Excadrill covered its ears, a look of genuine pain on its face. Realizing it couldn't win a sonic war, it finished its Hone Claws boost and immediately dove back underground with Dig to escape the noise.
"Grassy Terrain!!!"
"Li!!! —"
Bellossom raised her hands. From her flowers, tiny motes of shimmering green light began to drift downward, like glowing fireflies.
The green sparks floated over the entire arena, settling onto the parched, sandy earth.
As the light touched the ground, a miracle occurred. From the barren, scorched sand, fresh life began to sprout.
Tender blades of grass erupted with unnatural speed, multiplying until the dusty desert floor was transformed into a lush, vibrant meadow.
The arena was now a battlefield of conflicting elements: a howling sandstorm above, but a lush, healing forest floor below.
