Hey, what's up guys. I had no electricity for the past 5 days, so I wasn't able to respond to some of y'all's comments so I'll do so over a period of time. 'IF' you are wondering how chapters a still being released, I auto-scheduled the chapters.
...
After careful consideration, Han Jue decided not to spend his accumulated points just yet.
Before choosing his Chaos Monument, using points felt premature. Besides, with his innate secret technique [Analysis], he didn't need to worry about stagnating in his comprehension of the laws. Even if progress came slowly, advancement was inevitable.
Next came another pressing matter.
With the Genius Battle concluded, Han Jue no longer needed to suppress his cultivation level. Breaking through to Stellar level had been long overdue, holding back the breakthrough for the past decade had been increasingly difficult.
Inside Han Jue's body, the nine micro-planets began expanding rapidly. Within moments, their volume increased tenfold. The nine celestial bodies trembled in synchronized resonance. Then, in a sudden explosive moment, the largest micro-planet among them expanded to its absolute limit!
"Bang!"
As the largest planet exploded, the other eight detonated in quick succession!
Massive nebulae, star clusters, and dust clouds emerged from this miniature Big Bang. Countless tiny planets formed, creating a vast spiral galaxy. At its core, tens of millions of small stars clustered together, while eight spiral arms extended outward through space.
At the densest point of the galactic center, however, lay a tiny dark void.
There, the galaxy's first black hole, minuscule but ravenous, slowly devoured surrounding stars and cosmic dust while simultaneously generating traces of pure power that transcended normal energy.
"Hngh!"
Han Jue grunted, feeling the transformation of energy and psychic power within his body.
Universe level!
"Boom!"
A powerful consciousness instantly descended upon the spaceship, focusing intently on Han Jue with obvious confusion. This overwhelming presence went completely undetected, not even Ian, the Marquis-level Immortal outside, sensed anything.
The crushing pressure instantly pinned Han Jue to the floor, though it caused him no actual harm. The consciousness stared intently at his body, seemingly collecting information.
After a long, tense moment, the pressure receded as suddenly as it had arrived, disturbing no one.
The Original Universe Consciousness? Han Jue wondered in astonishment. Why would it suddenly appear?
Without time to fully experience his new Universe-level power, Han Jue focused instead on the changes brought about by the Six Eyes. What had attracted the attention of the Original Universe Consciousness itself?
He could already sense drastic changes throughout his body.
Most obvious were the layers upon layers of secret patterns representing the laws of space!
He sat cross-legged on the spaceship's lounge floor, closed his eyes, and carefully examined the transformations within himself.
After a considerable time had passed, Han Jue opened his eyes.
Upon entering the Universe level, the Six Eyes had undergone two major changes.
First, his genetic multiplier.
Han Jue's genetic multiplier had now reached ten times the baseline human genome!
This was comparable to peak bloodlines like the Golden Horned Beast, which reached World Master level upon reaching adulthood!
Perhaps the emergence of the Original Universe Consciousness was due to this very phenomenon. The only remaining peak bloodline among humanity was certainly worthy of its attention.
Second, the secret patterns of the Origin of Space.
These intricate patterns now covered his body, visible only through the Six Eyes, invisible to the naked eye. They served a single purpose: defense.
Simply put, this ability allowed him to construct layers of intangible, inaccessible space around his body's surface, capable of resisting enemy attacks.
Constructing one layer of space could negate Planetary-level attacks.
Constructing nine layers of space could negate Stellar-level attacks.
Constructing thirty-six layers of space could neutralize Universe-level attacks.
Constructing 512 layers of space could withstand World Master-level attacks!
The higher the number of superimposed layers, the stronger the attacks it could neutralize. Eventually, it could even negate attacks from Immortals and beyond!
Of course, "negate" referred to average attacks from each respective level. A Stellar-level genius from the Genius Battle would naturally be far more formidable than an ordinary Stellar-level warrior, but couldn't be compared to a typical Universe-level cultivator.
Constructing these spatial layers required understanding of the fundamental Origin of Space. Without such comprehension, the ability could only develop through natural growth.
For example, naturally growing to Domain Lord level would allow construction of 512 layers of space, providing resistance against attacks from ordinary World Masters.
While the requirements were strict, this was already a powerful life-saving ability!
It ranked second only to time manipulation, teleportation, and clone creation.
With Han Jue's current understanding of the fundamental laws of space, he could already construct nearly a thousand spatial layers, allowing him to resist most World Master-level attacks!
Beyond defending against attacks, this ability also isolated his body from the outside world, preventing contact with highly toxic substances or hostile environments.
This was a passive ability that could be activated or deactivated at will.
Han Jue decided to name it the Innate Secret Technique [No Limit]!
This ability possessed an extremely high baseline but also an extraordinarily high ceiling.
For instance, this version of [No Limit] wouldn't be instantly destroyed by Spatial Severance techniques.
As everyone knew, the fundamental laws of space could be divided into three categories: Spatial Blockade, Spatial Strangulation, and Teleportation.
Han Jue wondered whether his ability fell within the Spatial Blockade category or if it opened up a fourth category of fundamental spatial laws altogether.
Regardless, studying the secret patterns of the fundamental laws of space would definitely aid his subsequent comprehension of the complete Origin of Space!
Perhaps by comprehending these secret patterns more deeply, he could create a powerful defensive technique that would increase [No Limit]'s effectiveness by tens or even hundreds of times.
With this evolution of the Six Eyes came another important development:
Han Jue now possessed three innate secret techniques: [Observation], [Analysis], and [No Limit]!
These three innate secrets would be passed down through his bloodline!
Although he lacked clone creation abilities, Han Jue's three innate secrets were already comparable to those of other peak bloodlines. The innate secret [Analysis] brought limitless possibilities to this bloodline.
Even if the [Analysis] technique diminished somewhat after inheritance, Immortality was still virtually certain for his descendants!
Of course, Han Jue had no immediate plans for marriage or children.
In the Virtual Universe, there existed a very special plane.
Here, eternal ice and snow covered everything.
Ice formed this world. Extreme cold was its fundamental law. White was its only color.
"Teacher."
Within a magnificent snow-covered temple, a thin man whose body seemed coated in a layer of silver light knelt respectfully on the ground before an indistinct female figure seated on the throne.
"Little Silver Moon, did Han Jue from the Genius Battle inherit your legacy?" the woman asked calmly.
"Teacher, my youngest direct disciple, Clear Water, died on an extraterritorial battlefield. If Han Jue's 'Myriad Avatars' technique originates from my Ice Peak lineage, it could only have come from Clear Water. I will investigate this matter thoroughly," the thin man replied respectfully.
"It's unfortunate Clear Water died. He might have become a King in the future," the woman said, extending her slender white fingers to gently tap the armrest of her throne.
"Since Han Jue shares a connection with my Ice Peak lineage, what do you think about accepting another junior disciple?" the woman asked with a slight smile.
"Teacher, have you decided to accept a disciple?" the thin man asked, startled.
"Wasn't that leader of the guards around him arranged by you?" the woman asked with a knowing half-smile. "I haven't even decided to contact him yet, and you've already taken action without authorization. Little Silver Moon, you're not being very obedient."
"This disciple wouldn't dare!" the thin man quickly admitted his mistake.
"Very well," the woman waved her hand dismissively.
"Let's see what he chooses. If he selects the Ice Peak Chaos Monument, that would be ideal. I will personally accept him as a disciple. If he chooses something else..." the woman paused meaningfully, "you know what to do."
"Don't worry, Teacher," the thin man assured her, patting his chest confidently.
"I'll ensure you gain another genius disciple, one that appears only once in a million epochs!"
That Ian, though not his student, had also received his favor and would willingly follow his orders.
As for the follow-up arrangements, Han Jue's future teacher in the Primal Secret Realm, the thin man had already prepared everything.
Under this dual inducement, he refused to believe Han Jue wouldn't choose the Ice Peak Chaos Monument!
