Dahlia's POV
"Two choices?" Soren's eyebrow arched as he studied me, clearly caught off guard by my unexpected behavior.
I kept my voice steady. "If you want to dine with me, that works. But I cannot tolerate being around certain people. I have developed quite severe cleanliness issues."
"Cleanliness issues?" Soren's smile was sharp, never touching the coldness in his eyes.
I nodded with complete sincerity. "Too much exposure to contamination tends to do that to a person."
My gaze deliberately shifted to Diana as I spoke.
Diana maintained her practiced look of innocent vulnerability, but my words made her lips compress into a thin line. She opened her mouth to respond, but I cut her off smoothly.
"Miss Adrien, please hold that thought. I am not finished speaking."
Standing gracefully, I turned to Christina with a smile. "Shall we go? The rest of you please enjoy your meal."
