"What did you do to him?" said Betsy to Kurt at a morning meeting, after the normal quick update. Betsy had been showing up for them.
"What are you talking about?" said Kurt.
"He thinks he broke his halo."
"He what?"
"He was sparing with one of the Minotaurs and the casing fell off and he couldn't get it back on, and has been held up in his room fiddling with it."
"He didn't want you to tell me this?"
"Of course not but I keep telling him, I don't think he broke it."
"Yeah, I think I would have noticed that," said Kurt.
"Well, it is not going to ruin our wedding so can you fix it or whatever?"
The wedding was in the next few days, and was going to be hosted in Hamlet due to a royal request from their King.
They went to Homer's place. Kurt had never actually been inside Homer's castle, or rather his family's castle, which he was heir to.
