Kate POV
"What the hell, Kevin? I don't even love you, so stop acting like I'm your girlfriend!"
"I said shut up and get in," he replied coldly.
I rolled my eyes but went inside anyway, followed by Kevin. I sat next to Mike. Sir Matthew entered too same arrogant attitude as always, like he owned the place.
After school, everyone decided to grab ice cream. At first, I wasn't planning to go, but somehow, I ended up with them.
I ordered my favorite cookies and cream and sat down with the boys. They were chatting like usual.
Mike: "Guys, I'm gonna live in a condo after exams."Kevin: "Cool. What about you, Liam? Any plans?"Liam: "Yeah, I'll be working on my baking and cooking course."David: "Mine's simple I'll help my dad manage his accounts."

Kate: "Just… enjoy your life instead of trying to fix everyone else's. Otherwise, you'll never be happy."
They nodded, and the conversation slowly shifted back to jokes and laughter. I looked out the window that's when I saw him.
A man, face covered, pointing a camera at us.
"Excuse me, I'll be back in a minute," I said, standing up.
When I stepped outside, he started walking away. Then running. My instincts kicked in I chased him through the parking lot. He jumped into a car, slammed the door, and sped off before I could reach him.
"Oh, shit," I muttered, pulling out my phone.
Kate: "Hello, Kevin? I have to talk later, okay?"
Without waiting for a reply, I hung up, rushed to my car, and started the engine
