Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Toys

Uchiha Shin stared at Boruto's slowly raised hand pointing at him. He stood up and sneered, "Stop struggling, kid. Be a good hostage and maybe you'll live."

"Save my life? That's ridiculous."

Boruto's tone was calm and confident. "As for you—if you behave next time, I might consider sparing yours."

"Kid, you're looking for death!" Uchiha Shin roared in anger.

"Hmph. Take my Shinra Tensei first!" Boruto declared.

"Shinra Tensei?" Uchiha Shin instinctively took a defensive stance, though doubt filled his heart.

However, the attack he expected didn't come—the air around them remained eerily calm.

"Trickster…" Shin spat. "You really think you can use that? Shinra Tensei is a Rinnegan-exclusive technique. You don't even have the Rinnegan."

Boruto smirked. "Who says you need the Rinnegan to use Shinra Tensei?"

He tilted his head slightly, voice dripping with confidence. "Let me correct you—I can use it."

The moment he finished speaking, an overwhelming repulsive force erupted from his palm.

The invisible wave expanded outward like a storm, crushing everything in its path.

Uchiha Shin was caught completely off guard—hurled backward like a rag doll, smashing through the stone wall.

The impact opened a massive hole in the chamber, and Shin rolled across the ground dozens of times before coming to a stop.

"Wha—?! Impossible!" Shin gasped, eyes wide with disbelief.

He knew perfectly well that Shinra Tensei was exclusive to the Rinnegan. But Boruto… didn't have those eyes. It defied all logic.

"Sarada, take care of those clones," Boruto ordered coolly.

"Got it. Leave them to me!" Sarada adjusted her glasses, her two-tomoe Sharingan gleaming to life.

Boruto nodded, and in the blink of an eye, his figure vanished.

When he reappeared, he was already standing near the battered Uchiha Shin.

"Don't get cocky, brat!" Shin snarled, dragging himself up, his eyes blazing crimson. "Even if you can use Shinra Tensei, you'll die here today!"

Boruto smirked faintly. "You're pretty resilient. Good—it means you'll feel the pain longer."

"Go to hell!" Uchiha Shin's Mangekyō Sharingan twisted violently, and with a flick of his hand, hundreds of black steel blades flew toward Boruto, slicing through the air with deadly precision.

Each blade carried enough force to pierce steel itself—but Boruto didn't even flinch.

He stood motionless, shrouded in an invisible barrier of repulsive energy.

The blades struck the unseen wall, halted midair, then clattered uselessly to the ground.

Shin's pupils shrank in disbelief. He poured more power into his eyes, trying desperately to push through the invisible defense—but it was useless.

"No… this can't be happening…"

His voice trembled. The "Pain" before him wasn't supposed to exist—yet here he was, standing calmly, radiating divine power.

Hovering above the ground, Boruto looked down at him, eyes sharp and cold.

"You really think you can challenge me? Foolish."

"You are just a mortal. I am God!"

"Challenging a god… is nothing but arrogance."

Shin's body stiffened. The aura emanating from Boruto was suffocating—divine, overwhelming, and absolute.

Boruto's calm voice echoed through the chamber. "Your ability to control objects reminds me of someone."

"Next, I'll use his style to deal with you. Consider it… a demonstration of true pain."

He raised his hand, and two black Reincarnation Beads appeared in midair.

One bead expanded, transforming into a radiant golden throne that floated majestically in the air.

Boruto seated himself upon it. With a flick of his wrist, the other bead split into dozens of smaller orbs, each morphing into a deadly weapon of varying shape and size.

They hovered around him, gleaming with a chilling metallic light.

"Uchiha Shin," Boruto said coldly, "allow me to show you what true pain means."

As his words fell, the weapons shot forward like bolts of lightning, their speed beyond the eye's ability to follow.

"What kind of ability is this?!" Shin's voice cracked in terror.

"Damn it… I've drained too much chakra. My Space-Time Jutsu won't activate!"

He desperately spun his Mangekyō Sharingan, trying to use the remaining steel knives as a defense.

But it was futile. His blades shattered one after another under the relentless assault.

Silver flashes sliced through the air as Shin dodged frantically, his movements quick but increasingly desperate.

Above, Boruto watched from his throne—cold, calculating, almost amused.

He observed every move like a puppeteer toying with a trapped marionette.

Blood streaked Shin's tattered clothes as the weapons grazed his body again and again.

"I'll have to be careful," Boruto murmured to himself. "I can't kill him yet. He's too useful."

His gaze deepened, the corners of his lips curling into a faint, cruel smile.

"I finally found someone who can help me keep evolving—without any moral burden."

"To me… you're just a toy."
