"If Jiraiya's body really sank in this water, then by now… it's probably nothing but bones."
Boruto activated his Tenseigan, the glowing orbs in his eyes instantly perceiving every tiny detail throughout the depths below.
"Found it."
His gaze locked onto a one-armed skeleton at the bottom of the sea.
Raising his hand slightly, Boruto generated a repulsive force field around himself.
The surrounding seawater parted instantly, forming an invisible sphere of protection as he began sinking steadily toward the ocean floor.
"No wonder Kabuto couldn't retrieve Jiraiya's body," Boruto muttered. "The water pressure down here is insane. No ordinary human could survive this."
When he reached the seabed, Boruto examined the remains carefully. After confirming the identity, he sealed the bones into a scroll and shot back to the surface.
"Did you find Jiraiya-sensei's remains?" Nagato asked as Boruto rose from the water.
"Yeah," Boruto replied calmly. He placed a hand on Nagato's shoulder.
"Flying Thunder God Technique."
In a flash, both vanished from the Land of Rain's waters, reappearing in Kabuto's underground base.
Inside a dimly lit chamber, Kabuto was busy sorting vials of genetic samples when two figures materialized behind him.
Boruto tossed him the scroll casually. "Here."
Kabuto caught it, confused. "Whose remains are these?"
"Jiraiya."
Kabuto froze, his expression tightening. "Jiraiya…?"
He slowly unrolled the scroll, revealing the one-armed skeleton.
"Only bones left… he must've been underwater too long. The fish stripped everything away."
Kabuto rubbed his chin, thinking. "If it's just bone tissue, extracting viable genetic material to cultivate a clone will take time."
Some time later, far away in the Land of Water, on a vast and uninhabited island—
A deep purple spatial vortex twisted open in midair, and Boruto stepped out leisurely, eyes glowing faintly.
Since inheriting all of Minato's abilities, Boruto's understanding of space-time had reached an entirely new level.
The spatial mastery of both the Tenseigan and Rinnegan now came to him naturally.
"Let's test something new… Sage Mode."
He sat cross-legged on the cliff, closing his eyes. The air grew still as Boruto guided the natural energy around him into his body, blending it with his chakra.
Moments later, his aura transformed. A pure, ethereal energy radiated outward, and silver markings spread like webbed patterns around his eyes.
Boruto slowly opened his eyes. The world looked sharper — every breath of wind, every swirl of chakra, every living presence was crystal clear.
"So this is Sage Mode…" he murmured, smiling. "Incredible."
He conjured a small Reincarnation Bead, which shifted into a mirror-like surface, reflecting his silver-marked eyes back at him.
He grinned. "So damn cool."
Rising to his feet, Boruto stretched his arms, then faced the rocky cliffside.
"Let's see what you can do."
He threw a single punch.
The impact burst outward like thunder. The cliff face exploded inward, stone chunks and dust scattering in all directions.
He whistled softly. "Yeah… strength's definitely up."
Then Boruto raised his right hand. Chakra began swirling rapidly, forming a perfect sphere — a Rasengan.
Dark chakra from his Yin-Yang Release poured in, and the Rasengan's color shifted from bright blue to deep black.
"Compress."
The orb shrank, spinning faster and faster, its energy growing denser — fierce enough to tear through the air around it.
"Stabilize."
The black Rasengan vibrated violently, generating pale-white energy rings circling it like Saturn's rings.
"Great Rasengan Wheel Dance!"
Boruto observed it closely. "It's similar to the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, but this one's powered by Yin-Yang Release instead of Wind Release. Technically, it's like a Tailed Beast Ball — only much faster."
He frowned slightly. "Still, it's useless against the Ōtsutsuki. Momoshiki would just absorb it and throw it back ten times stronger."
Boruto sighed, then smirked. "Whatever. It's perfect for showing off — or flattening weaklings."
He floated upward, palm extended.
"This'll be my parting gift."
The Great Rasengan Wheel Dance drifted from his hand, streaking downward as a flash of deep black light.
The instant it touched the ground, a deafening explosion erupted.
A shockwave of divine force swallowed the entire island, kicking up colossal waves and a blinding flash that lit up the sky.
When the dust finally cleared, the island was gone — completely erased from the sea.
A few days later…
"Where's the island?!" a pirate shouted, his ship floating aimlessly on the waves. "It was right here! I had gold and treasure buried there!"
All that remained were fragments of scorched rock floating on the surface.
"Who the hell could do this?!" another pirate cried, trembling. "An island that big… gone like it never existed."
If they had been there that day, not even dust would've remained.
Back in Konoha Village, sunlight bathed Senju Park.
On the soft grass, Sarada knelt gracefully. Her gentle smile warmed the air as Boruto rested comfortably with his head on her lap, arms folded across his chest.
He looked completely relaxed, eyes closed in bliss.
Sarada brushed her fingers through his golden hair, the breeze playfully lifting both their strands.
Then, with a teasing blush, she leaned down and kissed his forehead softly — once, twice — and finally his lips.
Boruto opened one eye, smirking.
"Besides getting my face all wet, Sarada… what else are you good at?"
