As expected… it's Chidori.
Gaara gazed at the Chidori forming in Boruto's hand, falling into deep reminiscence.
"It really is Chidori!"
Temari blinked in surprise. "Sakura, has Boruto already become Sasuke's disciple?"
"He can even use Chidori—and his Taijutsu just now was exactly like Sasuke's when he fought Gaara back in the day!" Ino exclaimed.
"Taking a disciple? Sasuke hasn't mentioned anything to me," Sakura said softly. "But Boruto is exceptionally talented."
"Hmph… taking on my appearance, using my words, my movements… and even using Chidori. That naturally evil, yellow-haired brat even stole my style," Sasuke muttered in the corner, clearly displeased.
On the wall, Boruto's Chidori crackled like an electric dragon. The violent current struck the wall, bursting it into rubble and dust.
Boruto's body was like lightning—diving down at high speed like an arrow released from a bow. The wall behind him bore a long gash as he descended.
Shinki watched the lightning dancing in Boruto's hand, his eyes flashing with resolve.
He gathered all the chakra in his body for one final strike.
"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Spear, Pierce!"
Shinki roared, pouring everything into the attack. The Iron Sand Spear spun rapidly, glowing with electricity like a silver tornado.
As it launched, it tore through the air with a sharp whistle—racing toward Boruto.
"This move is good, Shinki," Boruto said calmly. "I, Boruto Uzumaki, acknowledge your strength."
He smiled faintly and swung his Chidori forward.
The two techniques collided—blue lightning clashing against black Iron Sand. Sparks flew violently.
Under the crackling surge of Boruto's Chidori, the Iron Sand Spear disintegrated, turning into metallic dust.
Boruto's Chidori then exploded forward, stopping just a few centimeters in front of Shinki's chest.
"See clearly—the absolute difference in power."
The air vibrated. Blue light illuminated Shinki's stunned expression.
"I… I lost…" he whispered.
Boruto withdrew his Chidori, smirking. "Yeah, you lost. So what does that mean? If you're weak—practice more!"
Backstage, Araya muttered in disbelief. "Shinki actually lost…"
"Shinki…" Yodo said softly, worried.
In the VIP box, Gaara exhaled and said quietly, "Shinki, losing this time will be good for you."
"Yay! Big Brother won! Brother won!"
Himawari clapped her hands excitedly, her face glowing with pride.
"Young Master Boruto won!"
"Konoha's pride!"
The audience erupted in cheers that shook the entire arena.
"Winner: Boruto Uzumaki of Konoha!" Rock Lee announced loudly.
"Next match—Mitsuki of Konoha vs. Nara Shikadai of Konoha!"
As the words fell, the crowd's anticipation reignited.
Shikadai and Mitsuki stepped onto the stage. They exchanged a brief nod—no words needed.
Then, the battle began.
"Shadow Imitation Technique!"
Shikadai's shadow stretched rapidly, aiming to restrain Mitsuki.
But Mitsuki leapt lightly, evading the grasp.
"Ninja Art: Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!"
Mitsuki's arm transformed into long white serpents that lunged toward Shikadai, fast as lightning.
Seeing this, Shikadai calmly threw a kunai with an explosive tag.
"Boom!"
The explosion scattered sparks and smoke, obscuring the arena.
"Mitsuki's strength is only slightly below Sarada's and Boruto's… but if I want to win, I've got only one shot," Shikadai thought, steadying his breath.
He rushed through the smoke toward Mitsuki.
"So, you want close combat, Shikadai?" Mitsuki asked coolly, preparing another strike.
"This distance is enough."
Shikadai smirked, forming hand signs. A huge circular shadow spread beneath him—then shot forward, trapping Mitsuki within its range.
For a brief second, Mitsuki couldn't move.
"The Shadow Imitation Technique… can be used like this too?" Mitsuki muttered in surprise.
Shikadai grinned. "This is the result of my new training. Now—"
Before he could finish, Mitsuki's body dissolved into white snakes.
"Snake Clone? When did—?!"
Shikadai spun around—only to find Mitsuki behind him, his hand poised like a blade.
"Winner: Mitsuki of Konoha!" Rock Lee declared.
"Next match—Uchiha Sarada of Konoha vs. Araya of Sunagakure!"
The next battle began swiftly.
Sarada activated her Three-Tomoe Sharingan the instant the match started.
"Puppet strings? The real body's outside the arena?" she thought, frowning. "So Inojin's loss wasn't unfair."
She rushed forward, delivering a sharp punch.
Araya's puppet shattered instantly, reduced to fragments.
"Ah—my puppet!" Araya yelled from the spectator wall, heartbroken.
He leapt down, rushing to the wreckage.
"The fighter in the ring is a puppet?!" Rock Lee said in shock. "I didn't think that was allowed!"
As Araya mourned his broken puppet, Sarada silently appeared behind him.
With a light flick of her finger, she spoke coldly, "Don't even think about it."
"D-don't hit me! I surrender!" Araya yelped, hands raised.
"Winner: Uchiha Sarada of Konoha!"
Rock Lee raised his hand again. "Next match—the final round! Uchiha Sarada, Mitsuki, and Boruto Uzumaki of Konoha!"
He turned toward the roaring crowd. "This will be a free-for-all! The last one standing among the three will be declared the champion!"
Moegi smiled. "Konohamaru, you actually got your entire Seventh Team into the finals. I'm jealous—you've got some amazing students!"
Konohamaru scratched his head, sighing. "Amazing, huh? Inside Konoha, they're fine… but once we're out on missions, it's them dragging me along."
He exhaled deeply. "What a handful…"
