Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Another Plane Crash

Oh no, it's over.

I ruined a perfectly good hand of cards.

Johnson Joffrey watched Assassination Team, who were chattering amongst themselves. Although they had deduced that the Boss had appointed a new capo, they didn't pay much attention to it, as it wouldn't change their objective.

Because they don't know the terrifying nature of Bucciarati's Team... The ice we left on the sea surface, having been there for so long, will definitely be replayed by Moody Blues once Bucciarati discovers it.

Sigh, I'm so stupid, I'm truly the dumbest transmigrator in history, I regret it so much.

I wish I had known earlier that no matter the cost, I should have melted that 'ice island'. Nearly three thousand meters long, it was quite spectacular. Bucciarati would surely discover it; he's not blind.

Now, Bucciarati's Team is in the dark, and we are in the open.

Although Assassination Team's strength will be exposed sooner or later, because every time they make a move, their abilities will be revealed, this time the cost is too great.

My ability, unfortunately, has become the one they understand most clearly.

Johnson Joffrey looked out of the plane. The plane was currently above the clouds, soaring through the starry sky.

Giorno Giovanna and I have a familial connection; he can also sense my presence... Giorno, are you following behind me?

Johnson Joffrey pulled his thoughts back and looked at all the members of Assassination Team.

I must carefully tell them about Bucciarati possibly becoming the new capo, but without exposing myself, especially since Pesci is very afraid of me, Prosciutto has always been very suspicious of me.

Giorno doesn't acknowledge me as a brother, and Bucciarati sees me as an enemy.

I really am on bad terms with both sides.

The most dangerous person right now is Bucciarati. If Moody Blues found out our destination is Olbia, then the boss's Bodyguard Team should be waiting for us in Olbia.

I must stop the Assassination Team from going to Olbia, because Olbia's location has already been exposed.

"So the boss will send the newly appointed cadre to track us down, right?" Johnson Joffrey, delivering his lines perfectly, said, "We should investigate who the newly appointed cadre is."

Melone nodded in agreement.

But Formaggio spoke up, "Who cares who it is? As long as he's new, that's all that matters."

"Of course! Well said!" Ghiaccio exclaimed, "Let's not worry about the new cadre for now! We're all going to be the boss anyway, so who cares about some cadre!"

Johnson: "..." Ghiaccio, I shouldn't have saved you.

"I think us going straight to the airport is too high-profile," Johnson continued to struggle, saying.

Melone nodded again in agreement.

Excellent, Melone, say something quickly, you're my number one assist.

At this moment, Ghiaccio spoke again: "I think going directly to the airport is good! That way everyone knows our objective, everyone knows we're going to Sardinia, and the boss's hometown will be exposed!"

Formaggio nodded repeatedly, "Ghiaccio! Well said!"

Johnson: "!"

Ghiaccio and Formaggio excitedly fist-bumped, as if thinking, 'Great minds think alike.'

Johnson Joffrey was speechless. Directly stating information I 'shouldn't' know would make Prosciutto suspicious. Guiding them to think in that direction would make Ghiaccio and Formaggio, two imbeciles, release a smokescreen.

Risotto has to consider the bigger picture. In this situation, and with him being my uncle, he can't show me favoritism.

Pesci is terrified of me; I'm a criminal suspect in front of Prosciutto.

Only Melone can be swayed.

Moreover, after Sorbet and Gerard died, he basically took over the intelligence work.

"I think Ghiaccio has a point. If we're high-profile, it will completely expose the information about the boss's hometown!" Melone agreed with Ghiaccio.

Johnson: "..." He let out a desperate silence... Johnson glanced at the clock on the plane, silently sighing in his heart.

You forced my hand.

He slowly stood up under everyone's gaze and walked towards the tail of the plane.

It's not that the Assassination Team members are foolish; it's mainly that they don't know their abilities have already been exposed by Moody Blues. The boss's Bodyguard Team in Olbia, and even Diavolo, are all prepared, sharpening their knives.

Without obtaining the arrow, one cannot easily confront Diavolo.

His King Crimson is too powerful; a time-based Stand is simply a bug. It's impossible to deal with him without guaranteeing the entire Assassination Team remains unharmed, let alone with other Stand Users waiting for us.

And my goal is the arrow. To get the arrow, I must contact Polnareff and obtain the boss's appearance... I absolutely cannot let this plane reach Olbia!

Johnson Joffrey walked to the plane's cargo hold. He didn't know much about the plane's structure. He glanced at his watch; there were still twenty minutes until they reached Olbia.

There was no other way; I had to resort to my JO family's profession as a vehicle killer.

"Damn it (italian), these rich people," Ghiaccio said, holding a magazine from the plane, though it was all just advertisements. "This is way too expensive..."

Ghiaccio clicked his tongue in amazement. Johnson Joffrey naturally sat down beside him.

He was inwardly ecstatic. He had already connected many critical parts inside the plane—though he didn't know what they were for—to the tail, and simultaneously set a trap. As soon as he released the thread on his pinky finger, the explosion would begin.

He would absolutely not let this plane reach Olbia.

The countdown starts now. In three seconds, he would let go, and the explosion would start from the lavatory, blowing up everything!

"Pesci, weren't you going to the lavatory? Johnson has already come out," Prosciutto reminded Pesci, frowning.

Pesci nodded repeatedly, then prepared to go to the lavatory.

"Wait!" Johnson quickly interjected.

"Huh? Ah?! Ah!" Pesci quickly backed away, showing a puzzled expression.

"What's wrong?" Prosciutto turned his head, looking at Johnson. "Aren't you going to tell Pesci to go to the lavatory?"

No, it was too dangerous for Pesci to go to the lavatory. Firstly, he would be injured in the explosion, and secondly, he might discover the bomb he had planted.

Johnson Joffrey was at a loss for how to speak when Ghiaccio suddenly said seriously:

"Did you not flush the toilet!"

Damn you, Ghiaccio, he really wanted to bash his head in.

Now everyone's gaze was focused on Johnson Joffrey.

There was no other way; let it explode!

In everyone's blind spot, Johnson Joffrey snapped the thin thread, and it instantly recoiled and disappeared.

The tail of the plane twisted in the sky, and various large, critical parts of the aircraft were immediately torn off, causing it to suddenly lose balance.

"Hmm?" Illuso looked at the control panel. Before he could even begin to adjust it, a huge explosion had already erupted.

"Bang!!!"

The explosion happened in an instant, a huge blaze appeared, and the extremely familiar shockwave also rolled up around Johnson Joffrey.

The Assassination Team didn't waste a second. Illuso pulled everyone into the mirror.

The plane door was pulled open. Due to the pressure, a strong wind swept in. Johnson Joffrey looked at the sky, dark as a velvet curtain, dotted with stars, with grayish-white clouds floating by.

He smiled.
